It's a fact Pettitte was prescribed steroids while recovering from an injury.
While it's true Pettitte was using steroids, he was not using them to enhance performance but to recover from a surgery.
Most MLB insiders realize why Andy Pettitte was using steroids, and it wasn't to cheat.
Nevertheless he used them.
