Rams -2.5 30 unit play
All the "sharps" are on the Niners but I really don't give an f. You have to be dumb as a rock to put any money on this Niners team right now. Line is still inflated from the team they had last year.
Half their defense is injured and they have no Sanders who was Jimmy's go to guy. Also there is no home field advantage without fans.
All the "wise guys" are taking the Niners trying to be smart. I just don't see it here, the 49ers are not a good football team right now.

The books moved the line no one else. The reason they did is that sf has been godawful and have lost all 3 games at home to awful teams ( Philly, mia and zona). I don't care if you think zona is good because they are not anything more then a 7 win team. The niners qb garropolo looked awful because his ankle isn't healed properly. They took him out early. He will be better this week. The niners are getting some guys back from injury but they are a Superbowl hangover team.
Now the rams. They are not good. They have beaten 4 teams from the nfc east. Dallas, Washington, Philly and giants. That is nothing to judge a team on. They have protected goff well but he isn't throwing down the field much and trust me sf will make him throw down the field.
Sharps will always take the +3.5 in this situation. It's a no brainer.
I personally would not get involved here and I certainly would not be laying 3.5 but I understand what the op is thinking.

I think you missed the whole point. OP said he got 2.5, i saw 3.5 earlier today. The line has not moved from 2.5. If it had moved to -3.5 somebody’s money is coming in on the Rams.

I picked up Kirk cousins to stream instead of Goff but starting to think Goff could throw all over these guys tomorrow. They’ve lost to niners twice last year and due for payback game

their secondary is banged up as are many key players on offense
rams are light at LB but everyone else pretty healthy

You are free to bet Rams. Line and sharps going off past recent history is my guess, This version of the Niners offense has been able to shove the ball down The Rams throats. In fact, this is what the Seahawks and Niners have both been able to do v the rams over the last few years.
They probably see a Packers-Niners (playoff game) type deal here.

I didn't say lock. I said the play of the year for me as I am confident. Goff could come down with covid overnight, there is no such thing as a lock.
49ers O line is awful with a gimpy QB vs a Rams D that is dominating. I could be wrong, but this looks like a bad matchup for the 9ers. Maybe they snap out of their funk in a big divisional matchup that is potentially a season ender for them if they lose, but I don't see it.
Last season for the 9ers was kind of like when the Raiders came out of nowhere to go 12-4 only to return to their previously shitty ways.
The Rams defense is not remotely close to dominating, the Bills dropped almost 50 on them.

18 points per game is good for 3rd in the NFL. Aaron Donald has 7.5 sacks and leads the league even while being double teamed.
3 of the 5 offenses the Rams have played so far are trash, their defense is slightly above average but far from domainting, they won’t be playing philadelphia, Washington, and the giants anymore.
