Dodgers -115 run line -1.5 runs is my play tonight

I like the Dodgers -115 run line -1.5 runs tonight.

    Why?
The run line is a good bet when I like a road team to reduce the juice.
The road team is always guaranteed a ninth inning at bat where as the home team does not have that guarantee.
That ninth inning at bat is important when betting a game you need to have win by 2 or more runs.

    Also.
Dodgers have a clear advantage is the starting pitching matchup.
Urias (LAD) is a tough lefty, and as good the Braves line up is the Braves don't hit LHP well.
Ozuna is a lefty killer, but that's it. Freeman is ordinary vs. LHP and the rest of that batting order is subpar.
Duvall is the 'x' factor, he has demonstrated in the past he can hit LHP but not lately.

    Finally.
The Braves starter (Kyle Wright) is their weakest link.
I don't think those LAD bats will have any trouble exploiting him tonight.

Dodgers-115 on the run line tonight.
I'll lay the fifteen cents here in this spot.

I took Dodgers F5 ML because as you point out they have the edge at SP tonight. I feel like they should be able to get to Wright and take an early lead. Whether they're able to hold onto that lead once Urias is out of the game is the question which is why I didn't bet the full game here. BOL Nasher.

Right now the money line is OTB, the run line is LAD -14.5, and the total is 20.5

So what my book is saying the final should be about 17 to 4 or so.

But he did just say his X factor in this game was a guy that has been out with a strained oblique since early in game 1. I’m fine with Nash So it’s not against him but booya likes to take shots at people in so many threads so I just wanted to add in the fact that booya comes in props up someone without even looking at the details. Details don’t matter in Texas

It's true the Braves struggle against Lefties, and you didn't know this but Duvall got hurt in game 2 and is probably done for series.

    Good catch.
I did know he hurt himself, what I missed was he was removed from the roster.

I have said this many times before, I will never jump ugly on anybody for pointing out to me that I made an error.
I was under impression Duval was 'day to day'

I have also said this several time before.
I do not wager baseball for a living, I do pretty well betting it, but I don't bet it for a living, and I won't.
I love to write, and will continue to do so, but it's a hobby and I enjoy it, but I don't do it for a living, I don't rely on writing for income.
I'm in the I/T business, I'm in the data base business, that is what I do for a living. There's a health plan where I work, and a 401K where I work, and a weekly salary. Betting baseball and writing I have none of those.

    So what's my point?
I write and bet baseball and a few other things as hobbies.
For me to do write up baseball for a living I would need a editor/proof reader/fact checker.
Since I don't make a dime doing what I do it makes no sense for me to hire an editor.
To handicap a baseball game requires a lot of details, a lot more than one thinks.
Of course I am going to make an error, shit, just recently as Tuesday the stats people on CBS made a glaring error during the Titans game and those people get paid for that. I don't.

Mining for data requires time, and writing that up takes more time.
One person who is doing it alone will make an occasional mistake.
    Shit happens.

But, I appreciate anybody who points out "Hey Nasher, you're wrong here, so and so is this, not that...."
Do so with respect and I will respond with "you're right. Good catch"

So I rely on you guys to be my fact checkers.
Criticism can do one of two thing, it can destroy you, or it can inspire you.
    It has never destroyed me.
Doesn't change the fact that I like to think for one person who does this without compensation and without a safety net or an editor I do it very well.
What is important to me is not once, never, as in ever, have I been called out on a claim I make or made that I can not back up.
Yes, I do and will make a error or two, what's intact after writing up baseball here for a decade now is my integrity has never been challenged.
    That's what's important.

Those who point out errors, thank, I appreciate it.
Those who take the time to read my stuff, thank, I appreciate it.
Those who compliment my stuff, thanks I appreciate it.
I'll continue to do what I do here.

I don't have any opinions yet on these two games tonight.
If I do, I'll post them.
Like I said, criticism does not destroy me, it inspires me.
Hell everybody gets criticized, I got criticized once for using too many commas.
Like I said, I don't have an editor.
