Snap crackle pop!! OUCH.. Reminds me of the Gordan Hayward break..

Ginger Dalton will fill in just fine.. Cowboys Defense is still the biggest concern right now..

Not sure how he will do, I would think Dalton's chance at success is quite high with all the weapons he has with him

He won't sign another franchise tender and risk getting hurt again. He will sign for whoever or whatever Jerry offers now.

^^^^^ i agree 100% and i think dallas will be better, because they will get back to the running game more, but that damn defense is so bad, how in the hell do the defense coaches still have a job

Dalton isn't better but the Cowboys are forced to run more now which benefits them and keeps their defense off the field.

Dalton had serious happy feet in the pocket which is understandable coming in cold turkey plus the fact that Dallas' OL is major patchwork right now (including a rookie Center)

but he also forced a couple throws, one of which should've been a pick 6. and that fumbled snap looked to be more his fault than the Center's. i think he was just so skittish back there not wanting to get sacked that he pulled back too soon on the snap

i'm sure he'll look more relaxed next week against the Cards who don't have much of a pass rush. and then the week after they play the Skins. not sure if they'll be able to pull out a win against the Cards since Murray is so dangerous when he uses his feet, but he should at least find some kind of rhythm in those games

Dak wanted $40 million for 4 years so he can renegotiate another contract before he's 33 because that's the age where QB's get less money etc, i heard the Cowboys buckled and offered something like $37-$38 million for 5 years and he still turned it down. Dak is a stat padder who falls behind the whole game and then pads his stats when the other team is playing prevent defense. He was a fool to turn down that money, he never did anything in the playoffs, now look at him, crying being wheeled off on a cart because of all the money lost....SMH

2 years, $60 milly, $45 guaranteed. Take it or leave it. He should be back, fully rehabbed by Dec/Jan. Cowboys already fukked up by having Zeke on the books for too long. Their defense is complete trash and needs assets. They don't want to end up like the Rams with zero cap space. Or the Eagles. Eagles are paying Wentz $32 million a year until 2024. $30 million/year puts Dak in the top 10 of QB's which is where he belongs.

Brees did the same thing. Took the gamble and didn’t get hurt. Dak rolled the dice and crapped out. Now, he’ll have to take a huge discount or end up playing somewhere else.

I said it before. I can never be upset about another man betting on himself. It’s his life, his decisions. What I think he’s worth doesn’t matter to what he believes he’s worth.

If I was offered that kind of money, I would lock myself in a closet and then have them hand deliver the contract to me so I can sign it.

Life is crazy. You can fall down the stairs, get in a car accident, slip on a banana peel at the deli, etc, etc,

That's why I don't understand some of these holdouts. I would tell my agent to get me the contract as soon as humanly possible and I'll sign it. Once the check cleared, then I'd get back to work.

What if you were worth $400 million but was offered $200 million? Most of us would take the $200 million because it’s more than we can even imagine and it’s certainly much more than most people feel they are worth. However, if you truly believed you were worth $400 million, truly in your heart. Why wouldn’t you bet on yourself?
