    NFL considering 18th week.

The NFL executives are considering a 18th week of games based on the covid postponement of games.

    Your thoughts.

This is something they should do anyway long term to give teams 2 bye weeks a year. Would increase the quality of the game and health of players.

I don’t know why they didn’t do it this year at first. You are right this should be done every year anyways. Waiting 2 weeks for the Súper bowl sucks

Ive never understood why a bye is not correlated to a Thursday night game. The Thursday night game is a bad idea. 2 bye weeks and zero Thursday games the rest of the season

It's going to happen unless the season gets cancelled.

It makes sense. Add lots of added interest with extra week. More revenue too because of more prime time opportunities. You don’t need extra games... the additional tv revenue can more than offset that.

Titans should have to forfeit game against the Steelers (aren't they thinking of giving the Titans a huge penalty anyway?)

Shouldn't be able to screw the Steelers like this...

Aren't they gonna have 17 games seasons? In that case we need 19 weeks to complete the regular season.

should be done. there are enough teams where you can give 2 weeks and still have a lot of games to watch each sunday. players get more time off too. a team with an early bye doesn't get screwed cause they have the 2nd bye to look forward to.

If the idea is to give every team an additional week off, I guess that could be done. I don't care if it happens or not; I watch one team -- not a second more, not a second less -- so it's not going to change my viewing habits or my interest.

Yes sir. You could give every team a solid 2 bye schedule. The 2nd byes could be right before the homestretch. Would add some fun and get teams healthier.
