    There is no one on the staff to replace Quinn. You definitely can't give the Defensive coordinator the job or the offensive coordinator either. Just get ready to get a top 5 pick and start over next year. Just hire David Shaw and see how it goes next year. A guy who can win at Stanford can definitely win in Atlanta.

    Quinn to learn his fate in the next 24 hours after losing to the Panthers

    The Atlanta Falcons are expected to fire head coach Dan Quinn in the next 24 hours "barring a change of heart," according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. Quinn's fate appears to have been sealed in a 23-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers that sent the Falcons to an 0-5 record. Quinn is expected to be the second head coach fired this season following Bill O'Brien's dismissal last week.

    I can understand after the SB not being fired because he actually got them there even though it was a collapse. It's been downhill since. Meanwhile, the Lions fired Caldwell when he's the only coach to bring them to a playoff game since Wayne Fontes. Maybe Ross did for one, but he was their best coach probably since the 50's.
