    betanysport & bitcoin deposit

Ok, Just signed up with betanysport last week. Made a bitcoin deposit 2 hours ago. Blockchain lists it as confirmed. Was on chat with BAS customer service & they say there is an issue with bitcoin deposits.

    Anybody else having this problem?

    Thanks

I’m still refusing to deposit there but I’m curious, does BAS short players on BTC deposits like 5Dimes did?

Any idea how many confirmations BAS normally requires?

2 confirmations. Literally if I refresh blockchain and it says 1 confirmation, then I refresh it again until it says 2, its deposited instantly when it goes to 2 confirmations from what I've noticed.

The deposit did hit shortly after I posted this.

I will say bitcoin is just a tough gig with fee's. I guess no way to avoid them to be bitcoin exclusive.

So many things can go wrong in the exchange to wallet to book process, PLUS the time delay to get the account funded vs Credit Card but the redeeming feature is the payout, but even that is not without frustration & delays.

As the Greek used to say "don't sweat the payout" is never more true.

Yeah, there's definitely something wrong with their automated process. I finally chatted with BAS after it reached 7 confirmations. She said that it wasn't working and that she added my request to a queue for someone to manually credit the account. About 10 minutes later, my account was credited.

Back in day Sportsbooks had the overhead of picking up ** AND they’d reimburse your fees. Now they receive bitcoin with pretty much no overhead and don’t reimburse your fees. The burden of fees of transferring $$ has almost entirely shifted from Sportsbook to customer in the last few years. We now pay all kinds of fees to get bitcoin (if we want it quick) then also usually get the short end of stick with conversion rate. You can spend $250 on bitcoin and by the time it gets to the book you’ve got $200.

I’ve been saying the same thing for a while. We always got the w u and m g fees refunded. Now they don’t refund and skim in the process.

So OP, did you get the exact amount you sent? More, less?
