In today's day and age you must be able to extend the play to be a great QB Except for maybe Brady

Big Ben started the play extending and all the great QB's after him do exactly that Especially Mahomes.

"Extending the play" didn't start with Big Ben Pauly.

In fact, they used to compare Russell Wilson to Fran Tarkenton.

Favre and Elway had more pure power, but as far as accuracy and timing plus the cannon! Rodgers threw one bomb last night 56 yards in the air flat-footed. Not bad for 36!!

The old Double Rodgers play versus the Lions......ok I could easily see Atlanta allowing it as well

A few people looking stupid with their Mahomes takes in this thread. "Throws off his back foot too much" .. yeah. And puts it right on the money. Best QB in the NFL and not even a question. Maybe the most talented ever and very possibly will be in the GOAT conversation one day.

    Correct.

It's way too early to deem Mahomes the GOAT.
Let's see what his resume looks like in year eight of his career.
    But he's on his way.

Hell, Mike Trout has been doing it for almost a decade now, and we still want to see a couple of more years out of him before we deem him GOAT.

Best QB in 2020? That would be Mahomes.

No he’s not, this is evenly bias, he was absolute trash against San Francisco in the playoffs, their is a reason he’s only been to 1 super bowl.

Russell Wilson has no offensive line and he’s putting up better numbers than Rodgers.

Russel Wilson has better numbers with not half the talent around him Mahomes has, the chiefs offense made Alex smith look like a pro bowl qb.

Give any average quarterback turkey hill, Kielce, and Andy Reid, they’d be a pro bowler nearly every year just as Alex Smith was in KC.

Rodgers is the greatest ever, yes. That Lanflisi guy is either gay or borderline gay/insecure, and those messages show at least a part of the story. There is zero evidence Rodgers is gay. Just because another friend of yours turns weirdo doesn't mean you are too.

Thats the bottom line. And to the other guy defending Mahomes. I never said he wasn't unbelieveable, but when you go outside of fundamentals on a regular basis then you better hope your huge talent edge holds up! Rodgers is much more fundamental then Mahomes. For example....the bomb to Hill on 3rd/15 basically won the SB for KC, BUT if you notice Hill was open by 10 yards and had to wait on the ball like a punt. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A GB WR HAVE TO WAIT ON A RODGERS THROW. NEVER. Mahomes took extra steps back on his drop and threw off his back foot. That being said...Mahomes could be the GOAT before its all over. Perfect system for him and his timing/accuracy is unreal

    A. SF was 10x better then GB and I'm sure their D-line crushed the pocket. Didn't even watch the game because I knew SF would crush them

    B. Rodgers doesn't throw picks and he DEFINITELY isn't going to throw a pick at the 1 to lose a SB. Wilson is great, but he's not 36 so he can still scramble and get away. Plus his WRs are fantastic. When Rodgers was younger and had Jordy/Greg Jennings/Driver/Cobb. Same thing

    C. Plus Rodgers has to deal with GBs front office working against him every year. NFLs final 4 last year and they draft a QB & RB with their first 2 picks. Rodgers Aaron Jones?? WTF? Its a miracle Rodgers carries them so far every year. THeir defense is ALWAYS shit.

I also don't give a shit if Rodgers is gay or not. Either way I'm pretty sure he worked out Olivia Munn on a regular basis. In my book she's as good as it gets

    Yeah right.
I love Queen when people say "but Freddie was gayer than a Jay bird" I tell them "I don't care if Freddie was into barnyard animals he's still the greatest front man of all time and their music entertains me"

I'm a big Reds fan and I used to go to games all the time 10-12 years ago. Rumor had it that the Reds had to trade Jerry Hairston Jr. (who was really good for the Reds) because him and Joey Votto had a gay relationship and had a bad break up. Again....don't give a shit. All I know is Votto pisses me off because he runs the bases like Stevie Wonder. He cost the Reds the game yesterday because he couldn't score from 2nd when everyone in mlb scores on that ball but him
