It’s a dumb thing to say. And espn definitely has a wardrobe person. She probably doesn’t get much say in what she wears.

My thing is this they should fire more people over social media posts because 99 percent would not say the same thing to the persons face so why is it ok to blast it for everyone to see but not have to answer for it in front of them. And then where do you draw the line if you start there? Can someone find personal info about you, your kids, etc and say whatever they want too?

They should turn off social media... or if you have a lot to lose from a career of financial standpoint just don’t express your views on it. I follow and listen on twitter only and don’t post. Oh well. Either way- people are highly sensitive today about everything. Not saying it’s right but certainly if you held everyone to the fire on everything they’ve done in their life we’d all be fired, unemployed or worse. As far as being fired or whatever, I think that employers need to adapt to the times and keep their people and social media in line.

Unfortunately, the number of "rules" that govern that can be a book of 1000 or more pages where everyone just has to fall in line to a certain, obviously hypocritical, way of thinking.

To even have a wardrobe and then be sensitive about a tweet is a terrible way to behave but why was he fired?

It’s going to happen. People make poor decisions all the time. We try to avoid firing people for being human and stupid.

I would mostly agree with this statement but then I scratch my head at the phenomenon of Barstool Sports who gets 67% of all traffic from guys under 30.

It seems misogyny, sports and gambling all intertwine together, everywhere.

I would say SBR and barstool are very different. Barstool definitely has a more comedic take. To the most part they adjust with the times. As for the girls on that site, those girls absolutely volunteer to be on that site to increase the traffic to their social media sites. I would argue that that’s empowering them more.
SBR doesn’t adjust and honestly they don’t really grow. Same people on here for years. And you are easily going to see racist and nasty remarks while yes over there you might be able to find old stuff that’s bad but they adjust. SBR could use an adjustment
