Should he retire? He is going to finish top 5 in MVP voting at the age of 43. This may be the most impressive thing ever done by an athlete.

He’s showing no signs of regression though. When Peyton, Fabre, and soon Brees retired, they were losing it. I don’t see Brady anywhere close to losing it. And if he loves the game, then keep on playing. With Gronk already announcing he’s returning next year, Brady will def be back.

I haven’t seen much regression from Brady either this year.
What I’ve seen is a couple more than usual overthrown balls and balls thrown in the dirt from him more than usual but nothing alarming, and it might be because of other factors besides aging.

You can’t fairly make a conclusion until end of next season anyway.
Every QB when entering a new culture (Brady TB or Rivers Indy) needs a solid year to settle in.

    I believe Brees is done.
    I believe Rivers is not.
Rivers had a solid season in Indy and all the analytics prove Rivers outperformed his Colt contract.
Rivers said yesterday I would like another year but he said his wife and kids opinion carry equal weight.
The Colts top brass from the GM Ballard up are leaning bringing Rivers back one more season.
Ballard said if this was 30 year old Rivers or even 35 year old Rivers there isn’t even a discussion he’s already signed, but he’s going to be 40.

The smart thing to do is for Indy to get the best young QB available unless they get a Watson type, groom the kid the way KC and Andy Reid groomed Mahomes, you know sit him, let him watch, get used to the team and NFL culture before inserting him into war.

IMO you won’t see Brees again until 2026 in Canton Ohio.
You’ll definitely see Brady and Rodgers later in 2021.
I want to see Rivers later in 2021 again, I think you will.

Honestly... Remember back a few years back Baltimore constantly moved their D around before the snap?? Brady was younger and naturally had arm strength to handle those types of situations.

If Green Bay moves around before the snap... Confusing Brady more... I think thats the way you Beat Brady now.. He doesn't have the arm strength to compensate etc. Doesn't have the complete chemistry like being with New England. He's still getting used to the young talent with Tampa Bay. All brady is doing is checking to runs on pass plays to avoid issues. Brady used to just change a pass play to a different pass play at the line.. He's not doing that with Tampa Bay. I think Green Bay should understand this... And change things around. If they don't... Tampa will make a game of it

I'm in the camp of 'good defense usually (not always) usually beats good offense'

I said yesterday the Rams game (LA with the number one defense) was an anomaly due to the fact the number one defense in the league was up against one of the greatest offensive QB of all time.

I'll always be in that camp of good defense will usually beat good offense.

With good defense Rodgers and GB beat TB, by ten.
Without good defense from the Packers expect a first team to score 48 points wins type a game.

Not for nothing unless KC devises a keep away plan like Belichick and Parcells did in 1990 when the Giants beat the Bills in that Super Bowl, without Mahomes the Chiefs are going to be in a world of hurt.

(But don't mention that 1990 game to any long suffering Bills fans if you value your life)

Way off base. Brady's thrown downfield more this year than any other time in his career. It's Arians MO, look deep then middle then short. Complete opposite of his time in NE. He's been near the top of the league for passes over 20 yds all year. The runs and short passes against New Orleans was the result of the Saints playing their safeties deep all game for fear of getting beat over the top. The few times they didn't they got beat downfield.
