Any casino outbreaks of the virus?

Think my buds at SBR would be on top of any contract tracing that leads back to the devils’ lair.
    Any good info appreciated

ya, I get that... I can see cities like Vegas trying to keep things hush though.

Persons A, B, and C all say they were at the Venetian. Who is keeping tabs, Persons A,B, C aren't talking to each other nor can they say with and certainty of where they caught it...Not necessarily saying I am in the know here, just 'thinking out loud'

Casino's can employee thousands. Some love to party. Others live with someone who works in a dangerous environment. Dealers and floor supervisors are in contact with hundreds of people each shift. Add lack of distancing and Questionable air circulation. An Outbreak is bound to happen. Especially with flu season on the horizon.

Vegas definitely keeps things on the hush. Positive tests in Nevada from non-residents do not get reported against Nevada's numbers.

Parx doesn't serve alcohol unless you are eating. They started to and the girls who mostly came back got laid back off two weeks later. Felt bad for them.

No issues anywhere. I've been to several casinos since May. No problems anywhere. Some of them didn't even require masks though some did to enter. If there was an outbreak in a casino the county health dept. would've shut it down. They've been shutting down businesses everywhere that had outbreaks or didn't follow county rules regarding precautions. I've noticed there's a lot less riffraff at the casinos now. Min bets are up at a lot of the casinos. Really keeps the broke dicks and trash at bay. The comps have been unreal. Like triple what I normally get. It's like a rona bonus baby.

It's ridiculous that the casinos are making people wear masks when they are also allowing so many people to smoke.
If they were so serious about the matter they wouldn't allow people to smoke, because everyone is breathing in that smoke from their lungs.

The casino I have been to has a bottle of hand sanitizer at each table and squirts some into each new player's hand.

Same here. The issue is not all the players are willing to do that. Safest thing for a player at table games is to just wear gloves.

A know of at least one indian casino in southern California that does not allow smoking inside the building. There's a area outside where smokers have to go. Still if someone without a mask coughs or sneezes those droplets can end up being circulated around via air conditioning. Best to visit a casino during off hours for the time being.

Quote of the century. Guys, it's not impeding on your rights to wear a mask at cvs for 2 minutes. I literally wear it less than 5 minutes a day max.

Impeding on your rights is Calis, NYC and NJs bullshit gun laws that I can't protect myself in public, or "may issue" states which means no.

Trust me, being a Dem/liberal doesn't mean were anti gun. It's more about social issues and tax policy (like Amazon should pay taxes no?). Most of us fully support the natural law to defend your persons, family, and property.

That being said I'm good on the casino thing right now. Gamble/fantasy/poker all online. I really only go for Blackjack or Grabass at their clubs

    Sorry /rant

The thing about the virus is that Casinos key demographic (there are many that only have machines because of state or tribal laws) are THE MOST AT RISK. 65+, conditions, obesity, smoking, etc.

So it's 90% grannies/grandpas that get free food, bussed in from areas, and are the all star members.

Casinos have a self interest in absolutely making sure they are on top of shit as much as possible. I know if Vegas the demographic is a little different, but there are hundreds of Mom and pop casinos all over that fit what I described.

Huh? Masks are for the virus. If there were no virus and no masks, there would still be smoking.

Casinos in Lake Charles, LA all shutdown due to the hurricane and are now shelters. 80% of the population are homeless. Very sad. The media hasn’t even reported it.

No smoking at Parx and from what i can tell it might be the end of that shit when things get back to normal. It is the number one complaint at Parx (smoking) and like the bars they are finding out that every smoker you lose you gain a customer. It is a wash and i hope smoking is gone forever. I also bet that 80 percent of the guys in here smoke

There is no way to determine if customers catch the virus at a casino. It takes a few days for the symptoms to appear. A study of casino employees would be a better indicator of an outbreak imho

If there were any cases of COVID that were casino related I would think the casino heads would do everything in their power to low key it, you know sweep it under the rug so to speak.

You know who is infamous at doing shit like that?
The Disneyland heads, they are downright paranoid when it comes to accidents and such on their properties.

    MGM Springfield was no good

No craps tables open. They also shut down let it ride cause you touch cards.

it was basically blackjack or slots. Their video poker machines don’t even pay properly. 8/5 is the best I could find unless you bump up to the $5 machines which pay 8/6.

I played blackjack for a while and ended up $100. Stopped at weed shop and chick fil a
