    How do you explain going from scorching hot to ice cold?

    The past couple weeks I was on fire and hit every but I made, but since Friday night I’ve been ice cold and keep having favorites choke on me. Every thing I bet it comes up as a joke. What do you guys do to stop a cold streak?

    Part of the deal. Don’t give it all back. Can’t win forever. Something I do is take a few days off. I just took a week off baseball because I was getting buried. It’s not about how much you win, it’s how much you cash out.

    Can only say to be more selective. Biggest problem with gamblers is they want to play something every single day instead of being patient for a real good game and going big on it. I mean sure you could be patient and get wacked too but at least it was the best game you had.

    It happens, I'm super streaky.

    I know guys on here swear they're big time sports bettors, doing it 247 and paying all the Bills with profit.

    I'm sure some are but they dont post.

    I have to say though, you get to a point in your gambling where you realize you're an all time loser despite cashing out here and there. Once you realize that, you just see this as a hobby.... hobby that eats at your wallet.

    What I do when I go ice cold and lose a ton of bets and go two weeks without cashing out or something crazy is take break, maybe 2 weeks, maybe a month. I buy myself (or my wife) something nice. A couple of months ago I bought a fridge, a grill, a tv....something that'll soften the blow of donating so much to the book.

    Taking breaks helps a lot.

    Really depends on the edge you think you have. If you legitimately have an edge, you should no take breaks and be disciplined with your units.

    If not , fuk it, embrace the degeneracy but dont bet over your head and buy something nice every once in a while.
