There are a number of past TPC Boston winners in the field, big names, and DJ is not one of them, yet.

I see a lot of +1600 or so out there and bet105 and BOL still have him at +2000.

But BM olds the best number so for my first strike at the Sunday leaderboard I picked up...

    Dustin Johnson +2084

Not a great write up here but I think that DJ let a lot of golfers down a couple of weeks ago and even though he already came through with a good win since the restart, golfers in spots like DJ's who then take a week off to prepare for more meaningful tourneys tend to play well.

Yes, that's a stat I have...lol...it's a part of the natural give and take (which is why I mention his recent win).

I also see him about +110 as a top 20 finish and I'm considering that bet.

    Good Luck

Interesting pick, I think I might have to add him to some contests now

His ball striking was better than results showed until PGA Championship

Then he was leading (or near) putting that week going to final round

The tourney starts tomorrow, where are our sharps?

This course does Fit DJ well but he’s never been a winner at TPC Boston. If you have him at +110 for top 20 I would pound that hard as that’s what my books offering for top 10..
With Bryson taking a week off to prepare and being a past winner here in the most recent tournament(2018) I’m thinking about putting a large wager on him at top 10 for +110..
Him and Mickelson are the only ones to shoot a 63 on this course and if Mickelson can show up day 1 I expect him to surprise some people.

Good points here. All that recent performance but you just don't see it in season stats.

It's like he was preparing for this week, or at least the "post season" too.

It's a pick and name that feels good to have, even that means nothing as far as predicting success...lol.

    Fariways are Princeville Creeping Bentgrass.

The rough is different. It's Kentucky Bluegrass Fine Fescue and I see 3.5" ...and assume that's for the whole tourney.

Greens pretty big averaging more than 5000 sq ft (5200) and they are A-4 Penn Bentgrass with a stimp of 11.5.

I believe 2 of the 3 par 5s will be under 550 yards.

    Holes 2 and 18.

Things don't seem too different than the last time here in 2018 so expect eagles and birdies on those holes as the last time they played here there were 27 eagles and 270 birdies.

Par 4's will get aggressive play too. We're going to see another mid to high teens under par this week.

Longer hitters can win this, but those that don't go the longest can make up for it with the short game, and that shows when looking at what the past winner did to win.

The more recent big names like Bryson, Justin Thomas, Rory and even Ricky Fowler won on this course with an emphasis on longer hitting, though Thomas was actually a scramber as well in his win.

If it's not fairway percent measured with distance winning, it's top notch scrambling, like Thomas in 2017.

Now that I say that last sentence out loud I suppose that's true for a lot of golf...lol.

    That's it, he's out then.

He was 97th and was needing to do well to advance.

Some players could sit out and advance, Keopka is not one of them.

Maybe next year he'll consider taking regular tournaments more seriously to help secure a spot he likely deserves.

For those that do fantasy golf I would consider Ancer in the lineups. He’s played some good golf in 2020(4 top 10’s) and placed 2nd in last years northern trust(not in Boston). +1300 for Top 5 finish
    Here’s his 2020 Rankings....
