    Betts worst lead off hitter in the league. Swings for the fences instead of taking walks. Has lost his power totally to right field. Getting pitched outside is the book on him. Will be lucky to hit .255. Dodgers would trade him for Harper in a minute. Just noticed they have already moved him out of the lead off spot. Only took them a week to figure that out. He never wanted to bat 1st and probably requested it.

    Trying to build him up to eventually ensure fan interest and keep it. Unlike Trout he has charisma and appeal to the fans. Above average player but no superstar which is what they want to convey. They need him to get solid stats which you cannot get batting lead off. It's a marketing ploy that is working for them so far. just keep telling the fans how good he is and they will believe it.
