Marlins and Phillies Plans
Both teams have postponed games though Sunday and hope to resume seasons Monday or Tuesday.
Yankees will now play Baltimore Wednesday and Thursday, and although I have heard nothing official, I assume that the Marlins and Phils' originally scheduled opponents this weekend will also face each other.
This creates flexibility for the 7 Postponed games for each team to be made up later on.
It’s being reported philly will play on Friday as no positive test.

OK looks like you are right, only Yankees series was PPD as of now. Regardless, looks like plan is to make up Marlins 7 games + Phils/Yanks series, so teams will still play 60 games.

The PA would block that move, get the league tied up in litigation.
Theyre too strong to a point it’s a detriment. There’s no way to punish these players for not following protocol like there is in the NBA bubble.
Its pretty asinine that the players got to make the call about playing AFTER they were informed of positive tests.

This is some crazy stuff.
Unfortunately, the Marlins and Phillies scheduled opponents this weekend, the Nationals and Blue Jays, are wrapping up a 4-game interleague series today and are not scheduled to meet the rest of the season, so they cannot simply play 3 more games vs. each other. So it looks like they have the weekend off too.
No players, just a clubhouse attendant and a coach. Phillies thanks to the Marlins may as well forget about playing. Lots of rumors about where the Marlin players contracted it at. If those rumors turn out to be true? None of the Marlins are getting paid
Should just remove themselves so they don’t infect others
And this is just the beginning of the season. Just cancel it and get it over with.

MLB on the brink if they can't keep this isolated. How is NFL going to make it? Flying all over the country. Close contact sport. No way the players have the self control to stay locked up for 4 months.

Both Nick Senzel and Mike Moustakas have won their appeal to return to the field for the Cincinnati Reds. Earlier today they made their case to a panel to be re-instated after having multiple negative tests for COVID-19 after having symptoms, but no positive tests, over the weekend. Since then they have tested negative multiple times and are showing no symptoms but had not yet been approved to return to the field.
Just after 2pm ET, Nick Senzel tweeted “Back”, indicating that he had been cleared to return and had won his appeal. At 2:40pm ET, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reported that the Reds appeals were granted for both Senzel and Mike Moustakas and that both of them are back in the lineup tonight as the team prepares to on the Chicago Cubs, and hopefully end a 4-game losing streak.

Such an odd circumstance here, seems like a crack in the protocol armor....Davidson was in the Reds’ lineup during their season-opening 7-1 victory against the Detroit Tigers on Friday. He served as the designated hitter and went hitless in two at-bats before being removed from the game.
Davidson’s COVID-19 test was taken before the game, making him the first known player to participate in a regular-season game while positive...

It's weird. Why test if you won't know until after they play, right?
Kind of defeats the purpose, just how ass backwards are they going to make it.
I don't think anything was intentional at all, just backwards. How long does it take to get a result, even if they are unreliable results too.
But the players didn't play, right?
MLB doesn't seem to have a protocol for this. If someone tests positive, should the whole team lock down and not play?
MLB sort of making it up as they go, but at least they are getting practically every type of scenario early, so they can figure out what to do.
Props to MLB for letting Balty and NYY play out of turn. That showed some adaptablilty for sure.
Should have a prop O/U how many teams complete 60 regular season games.
