Actually people should forge forward and get on with their lives. The China Virus doesn't kill that many people and to think that we would have shut down living for any plague from history is ludicrous. Forge on, eventually we are all gonna get this thing and if you die well then your time was up, but to cower in a closet somewhere just isn't the American way. Have some bravery people, grow a set and continue on for if you don't you will surely die, if not from the China Virus, then from something else.

You can't hide the truth. A paltry 1 miilion world wide deaths isn't a pandemic now a days. I bet more people have die since March from heart attacks, but we haven't heard about stop the bacon. Just being realistic the sooner we all get over freaking out over this the better we will be.

You can eliminate it by ensuring that everyone that has it DOES NOT infect anyone until they recover. The challenge is that many people don’t know they have it. The ONLY thing that will work is a TOTAL shutdown for 2 to 3 weeks. Zero contact with anyone not in your household. No one go outside, no grocery stores or fast food places. A complete shutdown. Those that are sick will recover and the virus is dead, gone, at least until we let someone in the country who’s infected.

Im in NY and been open for business the ENTIRE time. Never shutdown a single day, no mask no distancing. Some places are clear of cornovirus. Some places are not so clear of cornovirus.
I don’t know anyone that died from a heart attack since March but I personally know 3 people who have died from Covid. Plus, just because more people die by other means doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do anything to reduce these deaths. 1 million dead people may not seem a lot to you but it wouldn’t matter if just 1 was someone close to you.
The list of COVID successful countries is too long to post. So a formula is available.
The leaderless USA blew the first chance and now all other options look terrible.

2nd tiny Sunbelt peak has been reached for hospitalizations
Deaths should be going down slowly again by next week.
We will see small spikes again in north and Midwest starting in a few weeks and everywhere this fall after schools have been open for awhile, and again as cold/flu poor weather drives people in colder climates inside and weakens immune systems
But none of the spikes will be even half of what happened in April. Hospitals survived and adapted to handle that.
