Buccaneers | Jacob Eason a fit in Tampa Bay?
Washington QB Jacob Eason is a 'perfect' fit for Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians' offense, according to an AFC personnel executive. 'He wouldn't have to move,' the executive said. 'He could sit in the pocket and throw downfield. They could develop him for a few years behind [Tom] Brady.'
Link to story
Footballguys view: Eason only has two years of starting in college football, one at Georgia and one at Washington. He's got a strong arm and can pepper passes downfield with a clean pocket. However, pressure really gets to him more than most. Eason is rattled easily and that's going to be difficult to shake at the pro level. Expect him to be a mid-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
Vikings | Minnesota trading down?
The Minnesota Vikings are poised to trade down in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft to select a corner, according to multiple league executives, because of the gap between Ohio State CB Jeff Okudah and Florida CB CJ Henderson and the rest of the prospects at the position.

Eagles | Philly in receiver market?
Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz needs to have more weapons added through the 2020 NFL Draft, according to an AFC personnel executive. 'I've got to think they will make it happen with a trade or straight up,' the executive said.

Footballguys view: Zero surprise here. The Eagles are in line for a receiver in the first round and may move up to secure one of the top players in this draft class. They currently have the No.21 overall pick but could trade up with a team like Denver at No.15 so they could land a better talent.

Jaguars | Jacksonville to add QB depth
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew will be joined on the roster by at least one more quarterback in the coming, according to general manager David Caldwell. 'We'll get through the draft and see what comes out of the draft,' Caldwell said. 'If one presents itself, we'll pull the trigger. If not, we'll look to see what's on the street.'

Footballguys view: We could see the team add a quarterback through the draft, although many are speculating they could still add a guy like Cam Newton or Jameis Winston in free agency. Minshew is the starter for now, but he should have competition for the job in training camp.

NFL | James Morgan generating a ton of interest
Florida international QB James Morgan has taken part in videoconferences with 'almost half of the league's teams, including multiple calls with teams where he chatted with head coaches and offensive coordinators,' according to Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline. Morgan told Pauline after the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine that the New York Jets and New England Patriots showed the most interest, while Pauline added the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 'also in the mix.'
Link to story
Footballguys view: Morgan is a late-round pick with intriguing upside due to his intelligence and physical skill set. He's got a big arm and enough athleticism to keep a play alive. However, Morgan has 'say it don't spray it' accuracy and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. He'll have to work as a backup to become more nuanced as a passer at the pro level.
NFL | More teams eyeing Chase Claypool as a TE
Notre Dame WR Chase Claypool is reportedly being graded as a tight end by 'several teams,' according to Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline, who adds there are also 'several teams' who have him listed as the top tight end prospect available.
Link to story
Footballguys view: It's not a great tight end class. Claypool needs to be a better route runner if he's going to stay at wide receiver in the pros. Claypool had a standout performance at the Scouting Combine earlier this year with his size/speed ratio. If he does convert to tight end, Claypool could be a Darren Waller-like move tight end for his pro team.
NFL | Denzel Mims getting overlooked?
Baylor WR Denzel Mims 'could be selected much earlier than most expect' in the 2020 NFL Draft, according to Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline.
Link to story
Footballguys view: Mims is a top-tier talent in this amazing wide receiver class. He's got speed to go with tremendous body control and 'my ball' mentality. Mims is likely to be a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft and could make an instant impact at the pro level.
Seahawks | Seattle contemplating Leonard Fournette?
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette is reportedly on the trade block, and the Tacoma News Tribune's Gregg Bell expects the Seattle Seahawks to be among the teams looking into acquiring his services.
Link to story
Footballguys view: The Seahawks could certainly use a talent like Fournette. They do have Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny in the backfield already but those two have both had issues staying healthy in a featured role. Fournette has had issues with injury during his NFL career, but he's coming off career-best numbers in 2019 when he gashed defenses for 1,152 rushing yards and a whopping 76 catches for 522 yards.

Broncos | Denver could make play for Jerry Jeudy
Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy is expected to come off the board in the first half of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and sources tell the Colorado Springs Gazette's Woody Paige that it is very possible the Denver Broncos move up from the 15th pick in the draft and into the top 10 to select him.
Link to story
Footballguys view: Jeudy is considered the top wide receiver in this draft class for good reason. He's a great route runner and has drawn comparisons to Amari Cooper when he came out of college. The Broncos have a rising star in Courtland Sutton but they need someone to start on the opposite side of him.
Eagles | Philly interested in Denzel Mims
Baylor WR Denzel Mims said the Philadelphia Eagles have shown a lot of interest in him leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft.
Link to story
Footballguys view: Mims is likely to go in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. He's got plenty of speed and can attack a defense vertically. Mims also has good body control and fights for the ball in the air. There's a chance he's still on the board when the Eagles pick at No.21 overall.
Jets | CeeDee Lamb could be option
Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb could be an option for the New York Jets in the first-round of the 2020 NFL Draft, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Rich Cimini.
Link to story
Footballguys view: The Jets have the No.11 overall pick and they could start the run on wide receivers. This is the greatest WR class in NFL history, but zero may go in the top 10 as teams there have different and greater needs. The Jets may be able to get the wide receiver of their choice and Lamb would be a great fit.
Browns | Odell Beckham not being shopped
Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. has not been involved in any trade talks this offseason, according to a source.
Link to story
Footballguys view: This has been reiterated by Schefter more than a few times. People need to start believing the man! Yes, Beckham makes for an interesting headline but the reality is that he's going to stay put in Cleveland for now. If/When that changes, Schefter will let us know.
