    Error in the Kelly Calculator?

For multiple events, I'm getting a discrepancy between what is described here (https://www.pinnacle.com/en/betting-...KJTFCB3KNYN9CJ) and the calculator here (https://www.sportsbookreview.com/pic...ly-calculator/)

For example, assuming two events with 55% win at -110 American odds, I'm getting 5.48% as the Kelly fraction to bet on each event (using excel solver):

While the calculator says slightly less:

I'm not getting any differences when doing single events.

The difference in this example is small, but it can be pretty large with 3+ events with varying levels of edges. Given the opacity in how the calculator works, I'm inclined to believe that it is incorrect, but I'm not sure. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

    Hello,

I noticed a variance with my excel formula as well and was wondering what was wrong..my formula or the sbr calculator ?!

With the formula i use i noticed that when using a fraction of 100% or whatever other fraction i get the exact same stake result as the calculator from the link below.

    https://bet-types.com/bet-calculator/kelly-criterion/

Now with the sbr kelly calculator, if set to a single event and if the fraction is at 100% the stake result match as well with my formula and the other calculator, no problem so far, but once i use another fraction like 50% or 30% on the sbr calculator then the stake doesn't correspond anymore and can vary greatly.

I'm very curious to know why this happend only when set to another fraction than 100%.

If someone could give any insight on this it would be appreciated.
