They aren't a OBA team, Sox have good team speed which is a waste if the lineup isn't more selective.

Pitching wins, I like the staff ace Giolito, Dallas Keuchel free agent signing was a terrific sign, Keuchel has a live left arm and should be a solid #2 man in the rotation.

After that though the rest of the rotation is not deep at all.
Rey Lopez will be the #3 starter and he's nothing more than pedestrian like.

    Bullpen is not strong either.
Colome will serve as the closer and I have him ranked near the bottom of the closer list.

Still the Sox will be in the hunt.

    Me?
I got a 20 dollar futures ticket on the Reds.
Cincy in my opinion is the best value.

I seriously think the Nats are the team to beat, then the Yanks and LA
I was really high on Gioloto when he got drafted and thought he would be big for the Nats. Then they traded him for who again? Can't remember! I even took him in fantasy the last time I played that garbage. He sucked that year, but I always knew he had dominant stuff. White Sox are really building something but yeah, still not sure if they have that pitching.

Answer: Hard core pitching and timely hitters. My pick is the Braves but do they have enough pitching? They have it but can they pitch that way in the playoffs?

I kinda like the Mets. I’ll say one thing, I think it a very good year to take a crack at some the bigger odds/fading the favs. The cream doesn’t have time to rise to the top in 60 games!

I'll do some writing up later when I have disposable time, but yeah Mets should be considered, I'll explain why I think that later.
(I got a lot of writing to do later for my blog so some of it I will copy and paste here)

Yankees should win but they will not run away and hide.

If Rodriquez steps up for Boston they may challenge, same with Snell and Morton in Tampa.

Yankees rotation and probable 2020 stat projections.
(I like three left handed pitchers in the roatation)

    2020 PROJECTIONS

    SP1 Gerrit Cole R 3.2 13 79 60 21 110

In a 60 game sprint season if the Rays Morton and Snell dominate they can steal the season.
Even though I project the staff aces to start 11 games if the managers choose to push them they can start 14.

If they had their two aces (Tallion and Archer), but they don't.
Both are injured and without them they can't compete with the Cubs, Reds, or Brewers.

I'll say this much for Pitt, I like their lineup, but they have less than zero for starters with the injuries.

You left out cardinals pal!! We have the pitching and Reyes might finally be healthy!! This shit might have done something else that could make us more formidable, good chance they now have Carlson up with the big club when looked like they were gonna send him down after spring training had year played out as normal. He was raking too! He could be a piece that helps revive the offense!! Reds seriously only central team that concerns me now.

Yeah, me leaving off St. Louis was an oversight.

This is what I expect out of your lineup.
Curious as to see what Carlson can do. I think he cracks the lineup in the eight hole.
    What do you think?

Cardinals have incredible pitching depth, if Carlos Martinez regains the starter form he had few years back when it looked like he was a future cy young candidate they will be a very tough out!

Last year the offense just wasn’t good enough to hang with the teams with elite pitching. I could see how ppl might look at their lack of additions in the offseason and losing Ozuna and think that could be even worse but I don’t believe that gonna be the case.

I think goldsmidt now more comfortable w his new team will post more goldy like numbers this year!

Dejung has a career trajectory that is incredibly similar to Trevor Story and I don’t think it unreasonable at all to expect him to take another big jump this year (he looked fantastic in spring training before Rona struck)!

Wong has blossomed into what I think gonna be a insanely good leadoff hitter to go along with his amazing defense.

We have a handful of young guys that have a chance to fill Ozuna spot. Tyler O’Neal, lane Thomas, and most exciting Dylan Carlson (even tho I have no clue what the plan is for him since he was gonna start league in minors they said, despite the fact he was raking this spring!).

Maybe most importantly. Matt Carpenter getting to DH will help him I believe. This guy was terrible last year but he has carried this team for long stretches in the past when he gets hot!! I don’t believe at all he just finished as ppl started sayin last year, he not that old! From all reports I’ve heard he has looked fantastic in camp! They say he driving the ball all over the field. If carp can transform back into the guy he was prior to last year this cardinals lineup will be much improved! We know they gonna get the pitching and defense, if they can just be middle of the pack offensively they have a real shot!!
