Why wouldn't you just put in the payout request on the app and drive there?

For the record, I made a deposit tonight via Paypal for the UFC fight and did an immediate withdrawal after the Usman fight through Paypal. Money showed up in my Paypal account 10 minutes later.

Can anyone use the rivers app on an ipad. For the life of me I can't get the geoguardlocation app to work. It requires "always allow" but that isn't an option. wtf

On my android, I can't even seem to find the proper app.

    This thing sucks.

    good to hear

i finally did a direct bank withdrawal and it worked... after 2 weeks of getting the runaround, i think my paypal wasn't linked to a bank account which was causing the problem... but nobody at paypal or betrivers could just tell me that

Yes your Paypal account has to have a bank account linked in order to work with it. Mine already had a bank account linked, but a buddy of mine was having a hard time with his Paypal getting rejected when trying to link, but worked once he added a bank account. He had an error message eluding to that fact when trying to link (don't know what it said, this was secondhand info).

hopefully someone else gets saved some trouble by this

they kept telling me it was mike vs michael at betrivers, and paypal kept saying "try it again"

now my paypal is linked to a bank account... in the past i never needed that for transactions

I saw on Twitter from a couple sources that Pointsbet is supposed to go live before the end of the month (Pointsbet got a preliminary permit to operate, but Hawthorne still needs the green light since that's where PB will be operating out of), so there will be some competition to BetRivers soon.

BetRivers (Illinois) payout request via Paypal on Sunday, it errored out. Resubmitted 8 AM on Monday morning, STILL STUCK in 'waiting' status despite 4 live chats where they tell me they are 'waiting on bank review'. Bank review to send a paypal? Should take literally 22 seconds from start to finish.

Absolutely terrible customer service and delays. Will not be using again.

I did read that yes, and my PayPal is linked to my same debit/checking account I use for everything. Shouldn't be any issues there, but I suspect they go out of their way to create issues to delay payments... Not a good practice for keeping customers long term.

the delay is on the paypal side not rivers. from my past experence with pay pal if its a gambling related issue its a nightmare. Ive had many issues using pay pal and Illiniois ADW's I stopped. Once they even paid me twice caught it weeks later though and reveresed it and my paypal account was negative for months LOL

Had no issue with Rivers withdrawal, but definitely prefer Fanduel's interface, offerings and promotions. Mostly small stuff, but Fanduel has really good promos.

Think I'm going to try Pointsbet next.

How many times can I use the $1000 free bet promo on fanduel? Like if I already used it in IL can I go to PA or CO and use it there too? That's the best USA promo I've seen. Are there any other USA promos that are better that I missed? People in NJ and PA way ahead of other parts of the country on these promos cause they've had legal books longer than the rest of the states.

I have a $1,000 risk-free pointsbetting wager. How the hell do I maximize this shot? I'm totally confused on this one. Team total?

Keep in mind it's 2 $500 risk free bets. One on your first regular bet, one on your first "Pointsbet" bet (the one where the amount you win/lose is based off how many points you exceed/fail to cover on the spread or total).

As for what to bet, I personally just did a ML bet on a slight +odds which hit. For PB, I did the Cubs ML when they were +150ish against the Brewers when Mills happened to throw his no hitter.

I did the William Hill risk free bet on the Vikings ML last week............and that time I needed the insurance.

if you are going to put it all on one game and it has to be action points

I think the biggest chance of big variance and departure from the spread would be on a college football game tomorrow between teams with no games yet, like some of the SEC match ups. that gives you the biggest opportunity for the books to be way off on the line and give you the maximum amount of winnings. Like its not beyond the range of outcomes for LSU to win 63-6 or something

if it's just a regular wager. I have no good plays yet this weekend

Mins is $500 risk free fixed odds and separately $1,000 risk free on a pointsbetting bet. I understand the regular risk-free bet. Just perplexed on how to do this pointsbetting thing where I can get refunded up to $1,000 loss.

Ok, the promo I had was 2 $500 one for each. I have to agree with Chi_archie, probably better going with a college game since you're more likely to see a wide variance on the final score compared to the total/spread.

Guys, what about halftime margin on college football??? Like, for example that LSU game halftime margin is 11. The downside is x11 (tie game) but the upside is x30. So max win at 41-0 half at three times the risk. Is this a good way to play it? I notice they don't offer halftime margin bets on the biggest line games.
