    When I was a younger fella, I went the fridge and grabbed a beer when they showed up at 10 in the morning. Pretended to be drunk and slurred my speech. Told the dog " Jesus Christ quit your goddamn barking". Only reason i did it was that they had another crew knocking on my door 2 weeks earlier. I don't mind these visits once a year, but don't be harrasing me on multiple Saturday mornings when I was probably out til 2 am the night before. Amen.

    Happens to me at least twice a year. I love confronting them and ask why they are bothering me spewing their crazy madeup bullshit. That gets them to move on to the next door pretty quickly. I’m a firm believer in live and let live, and I could care less what people believe in. But once you knock on my door, it becomes my business and I got no qualms telling them they are nuts.

    The last time I answered the door, dude had his 2 kids with him..
    Went on and on about how God was great and how he loved him, etc., etc..
    I just asked him why in the last 3 minutes he never once mentioned his 2 son's or how much he loves them...
    Kids just smiled and I closed the door..

    Jehova's Witnesses come to my door once a year. I politely tell them I'm non-religious, not interested in converting, and hope they have a pleasant day. It takes 5 seconds and then they go away.

    She is but she does not take kindly to strangers knocking at the door especially at the ripe old age of 10. Once she meets you and warms up to you though she’s your best friend.

    I have a Wolf/Husky cross who is very quiet, he just looks at anybody who approaches my door and stares.
    They back away slowly and leave, thanking gawd he didn't attack.

    Ever since I converted to Christianity I welcome them into my home. We have in depth conversations about Christ, his worth and what it means to give your soul to the Church. I welcome their thoughts and I like to listen to their beliefs. I even have made friends with some and we have stayed in touch and went to dinner together. I belong to many Christ discussion boards and I hold weekly zoom Prayer services with around 20 people, including 3 regular SBR members including JJ. I am also becoming a Deacon. Just remember , you are not a man until you devour a "ritz" sodium free wafer into your soul. Accept Baby Jesus, at the end of the day , he is the only person that will take you to the promise land.
