Will the NFL change it's National Anthem kneeling policy for the next season?
A lot of players are going to want to kneel.
The policy says that a team will be fined by the league for any protest by its players. It gives players the option to remain in the locker room during the anthem but says any player who is on the field is expected to stand for the anthem
I guess everyone will be in the locker room. It might not be an issue anyways if no fans are there
Better off just axing it at this point. Only a matter of time anyway.

How bout they do something really radical
after they score a touchdown, hand the ball to the ref and have teamates do a 10 sec moment of silent kneel down.
then go celebrate on the sidelines.
If it's really about the collective community of black lives matter, the individual players should not have a problem with the spotlight not being on them dancing and acting a fool, but instead use that moment as a reminder at almost every single TD that you are asking for more police accountability. It would happen at a moment where EVERYONE is watching and multiple times per game. Add post QB sack celebrations to the mix. Take down Ben Roethlisberger and then take a knee for 5 seconds.
Obviously the Anthem and Flag disrespect anger overshadows the protest's actual point and is counterproductive.

There will not be players kneeling, they will be laying on the ground holding their breath for the duration of the anthem while others will toss rocks into the stands while lighting the benches on fire.
I heard the new rules will include the ability of black players to physically assault the referees with weapons if they feel the penalty flag was racially motivated.
Won't be surprised if players feel pressured to kneel during the anthem... standing, and placing your hand over your heart will become the new version of people today saying "all lives matter" . Just wait...

They should all boo the anthem but majority will take a knee. Anyone who was upset about kneeling over a stupid song is a snowflake and isn’t part of the problem, you are the problem.

You have all the right to disagree whit my peaceful none aggressive and harmful action , but I have all the right to do it . I have the right to express my self as long as I dont hurt anyone !! By kneeling for 2 min , Im not physically hurting anyone !! So if the NFL players want to do it , then let them do it !! That is their choice and so be it and respect the choice !!!

Why the fuk are do they even have to play the anthem in the first place? And this is policy is beyond racist and stupid. Every black should be able to kneel without repercussions, that's what you call the first amendment. If fans don't like it then tough shit. You aren't forced to watch the game.

The players have the upper hand. American football is only played by American athletes (except kickers and punters). If the players don't get their way they will boycott the league. The league can't find replacement players that people would want to see. The NFL is right caving in on the players and allowing them to kneel as they know they can't win this fight. It's also easier to cave in now that Trump is down on re-election polls as Biden wouldn't care if players kneel or not.

It wont matter what they do, other than the few of us on here most people dont give a sh1t about sports anymore. How many people do you really know who are sitting around wondering if there is even going to be sports, probably not many. If the nfl lets them kneel, they will lose viewers and paying fans in stadiums its really that simple, there are a whole lot more people in this country who are proud of the flag and national anthem than there are who back players kneeling regardless of what the media is trying to put in every ones head. Lets face it, its a horrible thing what happened to George Floyd, but it will be forgotten as soon as the news decides to pick up on the next big event, which imo cant come soon enough

i actually agree with you on something. get rid of the pledge of allegiance in school too if they still do that. there is too much government brainwashing. i also dont like when ppl try to pressure corporations with the goal of getting them to censor their customers or employees.
