Word of the day: "optics". NBA and Capitol hill don't want to be tested

We the masses cannot get tested right now unless we have major illness believed to be corona related or all symptoms

Word is adam silver doesnt want players tested until mass testing available to public.

    Capitol hill same thing.

    "Optics".

How can any other league (mlb, nhl, NFL, college sports) come back if they feel the same way.

Pretty sure every pro athlete been tested.

Owners too much $$$ at stake here

Can't discuss a season unless everyone been tested, if not, then any thoughts of finishing this year are simply unrealistic at this point

Minny then the nba is being duplicitous or at the least not following orders. Adam silver supposedly asked teams NOT to test.

And it can’t/won’t just be one test and done. They’ll have to test the athletes over and over again.

I still can’t believe we’re still getting this bs run-around of there being enough tests.

Right because they could be asymptomatic so testing every 3 to 4 days or similar will be necessary

Gotta test pro athletes if you want to entertain the idea of re-opening the leagues.. Test them around the clock.. 2 times a day, morning and night. That's the only way it could work..

If the athletes Tests negative then they are cleared to play it's just that simple.. Test positive you are sent home to self quarantine until cleared.. Could start up the leagues tomorrow if you do that..

No way leagues will test daily let alone twice a day, until every american can be tested. 331M. We are short by 320M.

I can see quarantined players closely monitored and tested twice a week max.

    So sick of this hypocrisy

Denying their privilege while making millions sitting at their mansions

The government and the States need to provide testing, not a private organization

They don't want to risk their valuable lives and will look for any excuse to not play
