I saw both Germany and Japan had upticks after easing restrictions, with Germany seeing an increase in the estimated infe4ction spread rate, getting back to 1.

I'd hate for the US to have that happen and fall into a panic because the testing is still inadequate to shutdown loacla areas. Opening and closing won't help any of us that needs sports to operate.

Here we go again, trying to scare people. Basically until we have effective treatment for a vaccine, the ultimate number of people who will get this wuflu will not be effected. I can go along with the flattening the curve so that the wuflu doesn't overwhelm the health industry. The flattening exercise is and was a way of trying to give time for the up-scaling our capabilities to deal with the symptoms. Well we've done that and evidence of that is the laying off of health care workers who are sitting in empty hospitals across the nation.
You science people should already know this, but as the curve gets flatter and flatter, the overall area under the curve will remain the same. It's actually calculus so I will forgive you and since most people have trouble with algebra I'll step you through the truths of the situation. Until the vaccine comes through, the same amount of people who were gonna get the kungflu are still gonna get it, the only change from huddling in the basement closet with the tv remote is the amount of time it will take. That's the way it is. Hanging around waiting for the cure is a maybe situation. Vets have been looking at solving the corona virus in our pets now for at least 10 years, yeah its true anyone know a person whose cat had FIP?
