They were in bad shape before. This just accelerated the eventual end.

Exactly. How can a huge store file bankruptcy with a month and a half no business.

Clothes are non-essential items, people aren't gonna buy clothes this year, they will just recycle their old clothes until coronavirus goes away. More bankruptcies to come for sure.

Do you believe amazon should be able to run the brick and mortar stores out of business? Or it's just the free market doing free market things?

Entire country going to file lol

Amazon and WalMart only businesses that are going to survive

All ad revenue down for TV and media despite captive audiences. Nobody has any money. Only thing keeping Wall Street afloat is government money.

If they continue to deliver the products in a timely and safe manner why not? Amazon is money during Corona, for the consumer and for Amazon..

I order everything off Amazon these days.. I get a box or two on my door step and or porch delivered almost every day.

Amazon is amazing. i'll never stop using it. Usually i'm in the store looking at products and pull it up on amazon for the reviews and then compare pricing.

    This is America

It doesn't matter to anyone that huge corps use illegal business practices, including collusion, monopolies and labor abuse

It doesn't matter that they receive preferable treatment from the govt in the form of taxes and not being forced to obey the law, and that they have basically bought the US govt, which has always been for sale

It doesn't matter that nobody else can compete with them because there is an unlevel playing field

What matters is that this is all a carefully planned outcome of making people in this country so poor and ignorant, that will buy from the big corps because they can't afford not to

How much of the "stimulus" is going to the actual people that need it????

Capitalism and the free market are not really practiced that much in this country

Can't get mad at Amazon bro. They didn't just start as a giant corporation. They started small and built their say up to be a big corporation. should be applauding them and trying to learn from them

I don't understand buying things you can't try on first.
