    NFL Season will be cancelled.

Is there a line on this anywhere?

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said he believes American sports can return and start being televised — but only if stadiums are empty and teams are quarantined in private hotels to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
According to Pro Football Talk, Fauci said in a Snapchat interview that sports can happen under strict protocols and with zero tolerance for players out and about in public where they might be exposed to the virus or spreading it to others.
“There’s a way of doing that,” Fauci said. “Nobody comes to the stadium. Put them in big hotels, wherever you want to play, have them tested every week and make sure they don’t wind up infecting each other or their family and just let them play the season out.”
It’ll be interesting to see how this line of thinking evolves when the leagues actually start to implement it. Can teams police themselves? Will it cause a second surge? Will it allow a smoother transition for leagues like the NFL and teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars who start later in the calendar year?
No one really knows at this point, but it’s encouraging that Dr. Fauci sounds so optimistic because we need to be safe but I think we all need sports.
And it doesn’t hurt he’s a baseball fan himself.

Will the circumference of the huddle be expanded to accord with the "stay 6 ft away" rule?

Will they all take separate transportation to the games? Will they be 6 feet apart in the locker rooms and showers? Will they stay 6 feet apart on the sidelines? If they get hurt, will the medical staff evaluate them from 6 feet away?

They are going to test them all and then basically quarantine them in a hotel so that they can all interact freely with each other and continue testing them weekly.

Way too early to predict, but if the majority of people in here think something will happen, odds are that it will NOT. I think the 14% is a bit high. 10% is closer to the actual number.

I dont have any idea whether any sports are played this year or not, but the longer they drag out making a decision the less likely anything gets played, jmo

I wonder if leagues will try to cut players salaries a certain percentage, especially in baseball since they will be losing ticket sales, concessions, etc.

prob will be played without fans because I was REALLY looking forward to seeing Rodgers play the Colts in Indy vs a Colts team with a better QB than Jacoby
