Should just move the playoff to 16 teams and get rid of one regular season game. Make for a better season with less cupcake games

No player is missing out on a chance to win a national championship by sitting out.

    is there a MAC team?

    needs a bit more non-big 5 participation i think.

i'd like to see 6 teams. so 2 play-in games.......... maybe 4 conference champs and 1 non-big 5 guaranteed. so that would leave 1 wildcard (i.e. an SEC west team these days)

here's a crazy idea. set aside a week near the end of the season for a bunch of play-in games.

I think there is a decent chance of it going to 8 games after the current contract with ESPN expires. Nothing changes until then, no matter what anyone n here says. The one wild card in the deck is what type of effect, if any, the Corona Virus has on any of this. Some says the immediate danger ends in July. Others say a lot longer. The News will screw it up at least 10 times.
