    Lakers will beat the clips today

    Now lakers will beat the other team they will need to beat in playoffs

    They also need to prove they can beat them period

    Lakers win today and they have enough separation they can coast the last 20 gms

    I'm not low on them. I just think when it matters vs the clippers they don't matchup well. Leonard will hound James and the clippers have better defenders all over the court. On top of that I will take doc Rivers over Vogel though I don't think Vogel is bad.

    On the other side again. GL. Bucks played more so poorly than the Lakers did well. Clippers in good form too. Six in a row. 10-0 when all healthy. Jackson, and Morris added since the last meeting. Outside of the king bitch, and AD, the Lakers don’t have anyone with an edge against who the Clippers can put against them. And there’s not much of an advantage for LeBron against Kawhi anyway. All signs point to the Clippers in my view, so you’re probably right. Lakers do have motivation on their side, while the Clippers already know they can beat them. Just so deep that they can withstand off nights from a couple guys.

    If you’re a contending team, it really is championship or bust. Unless you’re rebuilding, then making the playoffs may seem like a success. Most teams today build off of free agency, and not the draft, so you go into every season as a fan thinking that you have a shot to win it all. If you’re a Pelicans, or Suns fan, then sure, there’s other things to be happy about. But, it’s an all or nothing league for most. No one cares who wins the division, or anything like that. Barely even know what division teams are in these days. They don’t hang banners for that.

    It's too far back though. I don't think they think they have a realistic shot at it. Also, #1 seed isn't all that important since Lakers will have home edge over them no matter what. They do want to make sure they keep #2 over Nuggets but I don't think that's too worrisome. Doc is a practical coach, don't think he wants to show his hand too much until it really matters

    this is big brother little brother. the stakes are particularly high for the purple & gold. HOWEVER there is a man wearing the other colors who gives no fukks about these psychological games. he doesn't care about the standings. he doesn't care how you feel. he doesn't want to be your friend. he will kill you on that floor over and over again with no hesitation. like nothing we've seen since Kobe & Jordan. that man has that type of BLOOD flowing through his veins.
