Too many options this year. They could make it Yankees vs. Dodgers for mega ratings. They could make the Astros lose again in WS so everyone can root against them and feel good after the play the bad guy role and lose. They could switch it up and give us some new blood, maybe Trout actually makes it for once so everyone gets to see the "best player" of our generation.

Why do you think Dodgers vs. Astros? I saw you post that the other day. It could be that but why are you so confident that's it?

I'm a yankees fan, so I'm biased towards them. But shit 2 straight losses in the pennant, they are ready to win a title

I think the Dodgers actually get it this time. If not them, the Angels may pull it out. Can't wait, opening day can't get here soon enough.

What kind of numbers do you expect Marcus Stroman to put up?

you had the thread about it.......... why will they be better than last year? don't get me wrong, you could ask me the same thing about the white sox and mets, which i mentioned.

seems like we both like young players getting better.

I like Stroman going to the NL. In addition, he will be the 3rd or 4th starter in the rotation allowing him a little less pressure than being a 1 or 2. I'm targeting him in the middle rounds of all my fantasy drafts.

great question... let me tell you why I think they will be better

Yes the loss on Donaldson hurts at least initially. However the Braves are loaded with prospects and they have 2 really top outfield prospects they can use as trade bait for Kris Bryant or Nolan Arenado.

Julio Teheran will not be missed, he was trash.

Dallas Keuchel ehhh they got plenty of arms so I don’t think they miss him either.

Soroka, Acuna Jr, Max Fried, Albies, Swanson should all be better with age/experience

    Cole Hamels helps

King Felix believe it or not may have re-invented himself he is only 33

Soroka, Fried, Folty, Hamels, Hernandez should be a solid rotation

not to mention the Braves have 2 highly rated pitcher prospects that will add depth to the rotation or serve as key players out of the bullpen as the season nears the playoffs

The coaching staff is happy they all got contract extensions

The Braves have a big home field advantage in the new stadium

and I think what it boils down to is

    1.Acuna Jr
    2. Albies
    3. Freeman
    4. Ozuna

is a pretty potent top 4. Just need a little production from 5-9

The pitching staff has 2 guys in Soroka and Folty who can compete with the likes of Beuhler, Kershaw

once the Braves enter the playoffs King Felix will enter the pen along with the 2 stud pitching prospects

if the Braves have to go to the pen in the 4th or 5th inning in the playoffs they have the enough quality arms to stay competitive the same recipe the Kansas City Royals used to win the world series
