    Vikings prepare for roster reductions

Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman “are perceived by the peers to be on the hot seat and it’s going to be impossible for Minnesota to keep this roster together in 2020.”

Among the players listed as potential trade targets, tight end Kyle Rudolph and defensive tackle Linval Joseph are notable and defensive end Everson Griffin to opt out of his deal as well.
At the crux of all this is quarterback Kirk Cousins, who’ll make $31 million fully guaranteed this year and will be a free agent in 2021 if the Vikings don’t extend him. Cousins was signed a few years ago with the expectation he’d propel this team to the next level.

Rudolph should have been cut last year

    Griffen can go

    Spielman is safe

Zimmer could stay or leave, he's holding the team back w aged defensive players (Barr) and interfering w the offense since Shurmer left 2 years ago.

Wouldn't mind a you OC to get things going on O again...put up 30 per game and the Zimmer D can then be more effective. He just doesn't create any turnovers or sacks. It's a very vanilla D that, if they don't get off the field on 3rd down, is susceptible to wearing out.

Need a Norman type ball hawk in secondary w a blitzing LB to replace Barr

Rhodes has clearly lost a step, he and his big salary should be the first to go. Norman a possible replacement.
