If it was clear then why did VAR disallow it?

I hate VAR. Stopping the game for minutes and minutes and canceling goals because the attacker's shoulder is inches in front of the defender, or because there was a foul 30 seconds before the goal was scored. And it dependes on the VAR referee to decide if something has to be reviewed or not, after that it depends on the referee to check on the VAR screen if it is or not goal/penalty/red card.
I have seen goals canceled after 5-6 minutes of VAR checking - tens of thousands of supporters go from being ecstatic to being really dissapointed in a few minutes.

Horrible for the run of play. Unfortunately its not going anywhere. Tech pushes on to engulf us all.

One thing I noticed when VAR is used: stoppage/injury time decided by the referee almost never covers the time lost with VAR checking.
