Remember when 5dimes first started taking bitcoin deposits?

When was that? 2012-13? Wasn't it around $20 or something?

I remember seeing it and saying "fuk that, I deal in cash not bittycoins!"

    Back over 10k/bitcoin now...

    Missed it

I used to play .5/1.0 BTC poker on SWC back in like 2011-2012 when BTC was $4. The equivalent to 5k/10k NLH in 2020. Smh

I remember getting Bitcoin payouts when it was around $400.

Should have just left it all in the wallet but we all think that way now

Amazing that a sharp like yourself missed such an opportunity to make a fortune on bitcoin.

If you couldn't do it chances are great no one else here would be able to do it either.

The one saving grace at least for my sanity is that like most everyone else I would have probably had it in mt. Gox and lost it all

One of the first BTC I ever bought was $300, by the time I could use it in the book, it was worth $400.

Made me think twice about betting it...lol.

Space, including mining, travel, and exploration.
AI itself is a boom, but will actually, along with quantum computing, lead to booms in nearly everything you can think of.

So much knowledge is created through simulation anymore, and AI and quantum computing can not only run the sims, but can guide the direction in which to look. With future developments leading to genetic therapies and disease cures to the development of insane materials and new elements and even aspects of communication that part of the booming future seems wide ranging to say the least.

Not to mention the things that haven't even been thought of yet...lol.

    It will be crazy.

Might try to get a piece of Starlink, the big money has incentive to keep that up and running.

Oh yeah, and don't forget bockchain tech. It's only begun to do integrate, even if BTC is all anyone really knows about it, it's invovled in so much anymore.

Block chain technology so much more than just paying for goods, Gold. It's not just about currency.

Same. If I hadn't gambled away all the btc I've ever bought...shit i had 100s of dollars of shitcoins on binance that would be worth thousands now but I sold them all when I needed some cash

The amount of ripple I had when it was 4 cents is sickening.

I wish there was some app/wallet that for every X amount of coins bought, a certain percentage got allocated to a crypto "savings account"
