I think you will be hard pressed to find any casino that is smoke free.

That's fine just want to know if as states legalize there will be considerable opportunities in smoke free casinos.

I know Illinois has smoke free but not sportsbkooks yet

do you really want to work nights and weekends in a casino sports book. you had better rethink this. low pay, people spraying spit on you when trying to verbally make a bet, employees not allowed to bet. you can put your bets in offshore but you will not be able to watch games or live bet at all. you get away with murder at that scheduling job you currently have which pays twice as much than a casino sports book attendant would. the excitement of taking bets would wane in about two weeks. you will be required to work when it's busy which is when all the good games are on which you will never get to see much of.

So you're saying that as an attempt to stop gambling it would be a great move?

Rivers Casino in Schenectady, NY is smoke free and has a sportsbook. Pretty small though and might not need a lot of staff for it.

This is a good idea Otter. Are you thinking how you can make some good coin doing this? Michigan casinos are opening soon right. And there is no online for maybe a year from the bill passing. This means about 8 months roughly of only brick bets. And let me tell you.....lots of people might not want to trust the online thing anyway right away. People like to place bets in person it feels more official.

So I've thought about doing this same thing in Detroit. They say March Madness but I don't see it posted on the job boards for the casinos yet.

I think its worth a shot if you have a plan. I have a plan. I have a scheme. This is definitely a money-making opportunity. I'm not sure if you are on the same page about that. If you get a gig, then PM immediately.
