PA now has seven sports books

I think it is seven, I joined all seven. lol . I have my favorites and most of them giving away money, free plays and contests. one has a basketball game about every week in which if you take the winner on the money line and you team hits they pay you $3 bucks for every point they win by to a max of $45. so if they win by 15 you get a 45 dollar bonus plus your play.

you won't get rich but it is a win-win by playing the other side with the dog money line at a different book, just a few bucks but it is fun. I won $900 on the NFL football contest sponsored by Sugarhouse and BetRivers came in 35th or something like that. but I bought 6 entries, so I made not much. however I also had a 200 or 150 at BR so it was a wash but it was fun.

I like the latest one called Unibet. they are all decent, Fox, Fan Duel, Parx, the sisters BR and Sugarhouse it was a fun year and I think these joints will compete even more as the years pass. Every once in a while you log in and find a free play, or free cash. And WD are quick, no gimmicks, no this and that BS, ask for a WD and it pops up in your bank account in a few days at most. I just got a WD in two days.

If you are a pa player rank them for me. tell you the truth the two I like the least are Rivers and Sugar, but if they have that contest again next year I again will buy 5 or 6 and have a plan this time. lol

competition will be great and will kick in probably this year. things will get better. I am very happy with these PA books. So many advantages, plus two or three not sure gave free first bets. and not a few bucks. Parx was $500 meaning if you lose that bet you get it returned. naturally I won it.

can't remember which other one also gave 500 and I believe two had 250. plus rivers and sugar has a NFL contest that cost 125 for an entry and then increased to 150. just pick the winners in all the Sunday games. I bought 6 three from each and hit on two of them and like I already wrote it ended up about at a push. however with three weeks left I was in the $3000 category at Rivers, had a bad couple of weeks and dropped but it was fun because the possibility of big money is there. top prizes were high.

free bets are given out with a one time roll compare that to offshore. plus you don't have to listen to bs from people who don't give a shit, you don't need to be concerned about getting paid or a joint simply closing, how many times did that happen?

IMO it is a great deal and it will be even better because these shops have a limited amount of potential customers. think about it 7 shops right now competing for the business in PA. use your head it is simple economics.

also I think it is just a matter of time until one of these books decides to place a 108 or lower vig, that is what will move people to their shop. and the limits are high.

jj, you obviously don't understand economics. these books paid a ton of money they have no choice but to compete to make that money back and in PA they will make it back. it will take competition, business will do anything they need to do to stay alive. the businesses that don't adjust and don't compete will fail. it is as simple as that.

so what does this mean well with at least 8 books competition will be fierce. these books must adapt and if lowering the vig is what it takes one or two or more will do it. if one or two books become prime they will be the guys that have the better offerings. how old are you that you don't understand basic econ. I thought you had some college--this is easy shit JJ.

dumb state, just about a year or so you were bragging PA much better than NJ. gosh you should at least attempt to stay consistent, you look foolish when you say black one day and white the next.

Here is a lock you can bet on.

Regulated books won't go to -108 juice or better.

Once they have passed a critical level of accounts, everything from then on will be to encourage only losers and move winners on.

Once you have been IDed as not completely useless, you will never see a deposit promotion ever again.

Foxbet = Betstars. One of the worst big legal operators there is for players.

It feels good to start with, but unless you are a totally recreational bettor it wont for too long once you are locked in to the state controlled system.

Wait for the day they come up with some law to charge you for chosing to bet out of state licensed books to protect their tax income.

You will be yelling "regulation just means controlling me and making me bet with books I cannot possibly win at long term" in the end.

Draftkings is amazing, they hand out freeplays like candy and pretty much allow anything to be parlayed. So refreshing compared to all the restrictions on offshore freeplays.

i like the above two also. you know Optional makes some good points however I think it will take another two or three years before we can accurately evaluate these books. what they offer and do in the early part of organization and operation may be different than three or four years later. all business evolves and usually the better ones evolve with better merchandise/service for their customers.

I think, may be mistaken, the PA books will evolve into a better than average experience for the players. the pulse of the players IMO is, trust getting paid, decent odds, a great selection, bonus and promos, easy to understand rules and ease of deposit and WD. So far the PA books get good grades in all but one of the above. I think that will change too.

I am happy and I have kept only one offshore account and that one right now has zero money in. I have accounts in all 8 PA books, three are funded. I am not much of a player except during foot season. I will play a little college BB and get a little excited in March.

I can hardly believe how many freeplays they have given me already. I have no serious problem with PA books.

BetAmerica has awesome odds for the Daytona 500.

There has not been a book that even comes close to 5Dimes for low juice on NASCAR win markets since The Greek closed.
