Are books starting with low minimums?

Could be interesting to cap from a coach stand point and looking at rosters and seeing which players (especially line men and DBs) that have most talent AND have a legit shot of using this as a springboard showcase of tape to get NFL camp invites or be first called when pre season and early 2020 NFL season injuries open up practice or depth chart spots. Guys that maybe are getting 2nd Chance due to injury or personal issues.

I think QB intelligence and history of being leaders, obsessive film studiers and have dealt with the highest level pressure situations in the past will be important as well

A few recognizable names include Cardale Jones, the Ohio State QB who led the Buckeyes to a national championship after injuries to starting quarterbacks. Josh Johnson is a journeyman NFL quarterback who has signed with 13 teams. Matt McGloin, Connor Cook and Aaron Murray all played for high-profile college football teams and all saw success.

Quinton Flowers is an interesting player as he's listed as a QB/RB on the team's official roster. He played QB at South Florida before switching to RB while trying to make an NFL roster. Brogan Roback isn't too well-known for his play on the field, but he was a featured player on HBO's "Hard Knocks."

While the players above all made the 52-player rosters, it's still unclear which players will be starting for each team. The BattleHawks appear to have a four-way competition at quarterback as they carry the most players at the position of any team. Three of the eight teams (Defenders, Dragons, Roughnecks) are carrying just two quarterbacks.

    • Matt Jones, RB
    • Christine Michael, RB

    • Donnel Pumphrey, RB
    • Keenan Reynolds, WR
    • Eli Rogers, WR
    • Rashad Ross, WR
    • Will Sutton, DT

    • Will Hill, S
    • Terrance Williams, WR
    • Kenneth Farrow, RB
    • Marquette King, P
    • Nick Novak, K
    • Garrett Hartley, K

Going through the rosters, the names above are ones that stuck out to me the most. You can go through the rosters yourself to see if there are any you recognize that I missed. But most should be able to recognize the majority of the names from the list.

Antonio Callaway was a fourth-round draft pick in 2018, but a variety of off-field issues led to his release from the Browns. Sammie Coates and Eli Rogers are both former Steelers receivers. Keenan Reynolds is the former Navy quarterback who once finished fifth in the Heisman voting.

Notable running backs include Christine Michael (second-round draft pick in 2012), Matt Jones (third-round draft pick in 2015) and Donnel Pumphrey (third-most rushing yards in a career in NCAA history) among others.

Obviously the futures odds are based on roster-names.

Meaningless if you ask me and the team least favored to win it all has just as much value as the fav

The Guardians are a proud franchise and will defend their home turf as home dogs. They won't be disrespected like that.

Totals will be very interesting considering the new rules and the running clock. I would expect them to start out pretty low.
