Garoppolo is no better than Tannehill and you saw what happened when KC shut Henry down. They will stack the box and make SF throw.which they are not that good at. And as good as SF defense is Mahomes can scramble and still make throws. KC wins .

    on fire here pal

fact of matter is SF hasn't been tested... all u have to do is look at Jimmy's stats.

Should be a great game, I have a bet with a friend that the chiefs win but only because he is a 9ers fan

    No real edge

I will be 50 on tails for the coin flip, maybe take some props for fun but that's it

Most handicapped game in america, there is not much an edge to get here guys.

Just enjoy the game and hope for one of your boxes to hit

San Fran defense is good, but it's not good enough to hold KC offense. Mahomes is gone get what ever he wants on San Fran defense. San Fran defense had issues with Kyle Murray (twice), Goff, Wilson (twice) and Brees. None of these QBs have weapons like KC.

have you seen what Nick Bosa has done this year? this is gonna be Seattle vs Denver 2.0... an absolute waxing.

San Fran defense is not in the same class as that Seattle defense and Manning was throwing to Wes Welker, Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas (bunch of 2nd tier receivers). KC weapons of Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are better than anything Manning had that year.

I might end up on the UNDER here, if you're right SF will get a lead and likely ground and pound on offense.

The OVER hit early, pretty hard in a sense, but obviously there's a long way to go, but it shows in the line movement and all indications are that the pressure is still there.

Or does it show in the line movement?

Books had to know they opened low. Then again, maybe they're expecitng to get hit later on the UNDER. I have a 47 or 48 point game in one forecast.

An open of 52 and move to 54, even going through 53, is only so significant. Pulling off of 51 or onto 55 would have meant so much more in reality, when it comes to line moves and reflecting a lot of pressure in the market.

The books cold still be taking the Over postion, be regardless, one could say the books are in a good spot to "play around" in order to generate action for the Total.

Now, if they end up on 55 then I'd say the line move does indeed reflect the pressure, a market blink we just might see, but the books know to watch themselves, middle opportunities get higher at 55.5.

Maybe they play around, maybe they sit. Maybe the pressure shifts, but right now, from every source I have, on shore and off, the OVER is the popular bet, even with the "movement."

    1. Mahomes isn't old like Peyton was what, 35 in that bowl?

    2. Mahomes can scramble unlike Peyton. teams could also play a certain way... man or zone and frustrate him. Mahomes... man him up and he end up beating you deep silly... zone him and he will pick u apart. send pressure that isn't perfect and he will extend the play and/or scramble for yards. and he can throw amazing on the run and he has much better arm strength than Peyton.
    3. welker and those WR were soft and didn't want it bad enough. you saw how KC plays... kelce, watkins... hill... they want that contact and extra yards. they fight.
    4. good luck with jimmy being forced to pass after not having an important throw in a month

It's more like if you liked SF, and all of SBR is on SF, and Weedy is on SF.....you don't bet on KC you just wash your hands of this game all together. Or just bet other things like player props and team props. If I was on SF, then I simply just can't bet against myself.

My Uncle Bob is on SF. Bobby did predict KC/SF SB though. Not much considering both heavy faves for championship games. I have another Uncle named Ray. Uncle Ray was wrong about every single Stanley Cup, Super Bowl, you name it. I told my Dad about how I was betting against him and he told Ray. Uncle Ray got mad and wouldn't talk sports anymore. Bobby won with Philly a few years ago. I got burned. I think the public was on Philly big time.

sometimes a team is so good that they don't need to be tested.

If KC wins you can say "See guys, SF was not tested, that's why they lost". when in actuality, maybe KC is just the best team this year.

If SF beats KC, what will naysayers say then?
