    How to hedge a correct result of chiefs beating packers in Super Bowl

    Currently have a plus 1400 ticket with the chiefs beating the packers in the Super Bowl. 715 to win 10k how would you hedge this. You can take the chiefs over the niners in the Super Bowl at plus 200. I believe chiefs would be a small favorite against niners.

    i would take the chiefs over the 49ers in the superbowl for $500 to win $1500 and bet the 49ers to cover the spread this weekend for $500

    There was a thread late last night asking almost the exact same thing but for some reason it's gone now...

    Basically, we concluded there isn't too much point hedging because your equity isn't really that much. SF is about -300

    You could consider a KC and SF teaser if you can tolerate the extra risk

    Don't hedge. Hedging is for pussies. It's saying to yourself you don't think you had it right. Plus, if you win the ticket you'll be much better off. Hedging is for people that want to finish second or third in anything. Let it ride.

    Maybe I'm missing something. Hedging only works if one part of the equation is known. KC isn't in the Superbowl awaiting the winner of the GB/SF game! IF KC wins THEN you have a hedge.
