    Brees > Rodgers

    And it’s not even debatable.

Brees has more TD passes than Rodgers.
Brees has a better lifetime pass completion percentage.
Brees has better across the board playoff numbers then Rodgers.
Brees pretty much is better than Rodgers in every category.

The Saints with Brees is 8-7 in the post season, the Packers with Rodgers is 9-7 but the Packer teams had better defenses then Saints teams so it’s not fair to compare the two QB’s playoff records but if you do want to compare Brees has better individual numbers than Rodgers in the post season.

    Invalid argument.
Super Bowls are won with 53 player teams, not one.
Was Ernie Banks underwhelming because his Cubs teams never won a World Series?

just going by what Ive seen, brees % higher imo because he's attempted shorter passes while rodgers more downfield also rodgers hasnt had the receiving weapons brees has had over his career, the most glaring thing is rodgers has 2 mvp awards, brees 0

OK, let’s forget about the number of TD passes thrown because Brees has indeed played in more games.
Brees still is the more accurate passer, the proof is in the numbers, Brees has better accuracy numbers regular season and post season than Rodgers and you can’t use the amount of games played to debate that.

    Over their careers...

Brees with 11.2 yards per catch.

Rodgers with 12.0 yards per catch.

Of course, this isn't broken down by yards after the catch.

Both can throw a ball with accurately if given time like all the greats.. Need play calling, receivers that can get open and an OL that gives you time to throw..

QB accuracy both are solid!!!! Hard sell either way.. Drew Brees really good with the long ball though..

I looked at yds/attempt, attempted yards/avg. and yds/catch. rodgers also has the running ability

I can’t recall a coach making an on field tackle or making a pass reception.

I don't care what stat advantage Brees has, I'm taking Rodgers every single day.

Like mentioned, he's played in nearly 100 more games so of course he'll have more TDs.

Plays half his games in a dome and has nearly 100 more pass TD at home than on the road. That's a ridiculous split, few QBs have that kind of a difference at home.

Completion percentage is meaningless these days, half the starting QBs in the entire league are 65% or better this year. Sam freaking Bradford led the NFL with 72% a few years ago. And Brees the last few years is the king of the short pass to Kamara and he turns it into 20 yards.

Brees has had much better coaching and much better weapons over the course of his career.

Rodgers better athlete, better arm, mobile. Using the ole fashion eye test, Rodgers is better.

Agreed. Rodgers most overrated qb ever. Is he great? Yes. Has he done less then his rep? Yes. He blew that game in Seattle. That was the end of him. Brees saved a city. He don't need to do anymore

Give Brees time to set his feet he'll throw the ball deep on the money over most QB's period..

Rodgers has made some of the greatest throws I've ever seen. throws his receivers open, can throw it anywhere from anywhere (inside or outside the pocket).... don't disrespect.

Rodgers is right there Dem.. Don't count out the Brees long ball hits though especially in the dome.. He delivers with the best of them.

Brees has Payton in a nice cushy Dome. Rodgers has to play at Lambeau. Switch spots, and I don’t think Brees would be able to do what Rodgers has done, while Rodgers would light up the Dome all the same.

    Parcells > Belichick

Wasn’t it Parcells that resurrected Belichick’s career?
Now before you jump ugly on your pal Nasher, I’m just joking around.

    But.....
It’s still It’s Brady and Montana 1 and 1a for me than Brees 3 then everyone else.

Consider these facts that Brees been playing in a dome while Rodgers been playing outdoors in cold weather. Though I also lean towards Brees as the better QB.

They are both overrated but Rodgers was better in his prime and it's not close. Brees has aged better because he's the better pocket passer, Rodgers has had injuries and he relied on his athleticism more which isn't as impressive of course since he's older.

Brees could not hear the Bears defenses in his prime, Rodgers destroyed those defenses. Brees also has never won an important playoff game on the road, Rodgers has won many. Brees plays on a some and throws lots of short passes, that's why his stats are better, put Rodgers Ina some instead of lambeau and he'd shit on brees. Not close.
