Aaron Rodgers is a shell of his former self the last 3 years.

Brees IS better now, and has had the better career

AR, in his prime, superior in EVERY metric to Brees in his prime however.

Drew just gets better protection and has more talent around him.

AR today might not be a top 10 qb looking ahead a few years. Too many sacks, tfl and injuries .

GB saddled w a bad contract there....

Yeah peak Rodgers better than brees, right now brees probably playing better than rodgers, hopefully they play against each other this year

    Both all time greats

    Lol overrated

Brees could not hear the Bears defenses in his prime, Rodgers destroyed those defenses. Brees also has never won an important playoff game on the road, Rodgers has won many. Brees plays on a some and throws lots of short passes, that's why his stats are better, put Rodgers Ina some instead of lambeau and he'd shit on brees. Not close.

AR has a 111 indoor passer rating but is 17-16 overall as starter indoors

Honestly I don’t think it matters who is better. They both will end up in the same spot. It’s a place that Philip Rivers won’t be. Which you did say he was a great qb and that he deserved to be in the hall of fame. Smh

The funny part is analysts went from saying green bay fell off this year only to end up clinching the playoffs. All the usual teams can expect to lose to Rodgers going forward ie minn chi det etc

Brees has won his entire career.

Dominated in Sam Diego and now New Orleans. Not many QB's have done this.

Great night for Drew. Still overrated. Put him outdoors instead of in Nola and he is Eli minus the 2 sb wins.

just on the "look" test i would take rodgers over brees - i think a lot of passes look better from rodgers than brees and he wins in lambeau

not knocking brees, he is damn good

Look at Saints with Bridgewater playing still a playoff team. Whenever Rodgers has gone down Green Bay goes from playoff team to dumpster fire.

    Rodgers is better, not debatable.

Brady & Brees both 40+ years of age and two of the greatest ever.

Enjoy them while they're still here

Brees couldn't win on the road in cold weather in his prime, why he only made 1 super bowl.

According to basketball-reference Brees is the most accurate passer in the history of the NFL minimum 50 games played.

rodgers time and time again does more with less both pack and saints are 11-3 but saints have the much better overall team. put brees on pack and they are prob 5-9 or 6-8 put rodgers on saints and they are prob 12-2, 13-1 or undefeated

It’s true. Put him back when QBs got hit and wrs got punished for going across the middle and he a nobody. He is only who he is cause the era. Pathetic how he gets protected, not allowed to breath on him.

It not just him, fragile ass Rodgers wouldn’t have made it 10 years with way QBs used to get hit. They change a rule every time that pansy gets hurt. The numbers all these QBs put up now a freaking joke.

    Yeah agreed.
That’s why I rank Montana and Brady 1 and 1a

Put Montana on the 2010’s Pats and Brady on the 1980’s 49’ers and I bet you Montana has the better career.
But there’s no way to prove that.

What I do know is in the 1980’s the Bears were allowed to play big boy defense and LT could break Thiesman’s leg.

I’d prob buy that. Although one could argue Montana had a much more friendly offense being the trigger man for when the west coast was created. Montana always had those stud weapons where as Brady hasn’t always had that but yea 1 and 1a I’m good with.

As much I knock Brees can’t take away the numbers even if fraudulent to a extent imo they still better than all the others have put up in this era. He also benefited from having one the best offensive minded head coaches of this generation.
