Tom Brady is ready to start a new chaper with a new team

Long Tenured, Respected Local Sports Writer
    Tom E Curran

has expressed the possibility of Tom Brady LEAVING the New England Patriots for several reasons

    - Brady took the "team discount" in his contract, being paid significantly less than he deserves, supposedly to help build the team that can win superbowls, but Tom is increasingly frustrated with Bill Belichick's General Management decisions that are not supporting him as a player.
    - Bradys sold their house in Massachusetts this August.
    https://nypost.com/2019/08/12/tom-br...gland-mansion/
    - Bradys have a house in Los Angeles
    - Tom not having fun this year, doesn't enjoy playing with Bill anymore (many times reported in recent years, and Belichick still upset he had to let go of Jimmy G who is now making more money than Tom Bracy)

There are also some grumblings about Beliechick family's control over the organization as being too deep
    - Steve Belichick - who Bill has calling defensive plays - is the de-facto defensive coordinator, it reeks of nepotism.
    - Questions about why Josh Gordon was let go do not appear satisfactorily answered.

    https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/pat...ontana-went-kc

“If Bill [Belichick] says he doesn’t want Tommy, and Tommy wants to play, well, Joe Montana went to Kansas City … just because Bill decides he wants to move on, that won’t dictate Tommy’s future," Brady Sr. told Karen Guregian in a feature piece for the Boston Herald. "I’m sure there are a few other teams in the league that would want him.”
Brady Sr. went on to say that his son's future in New England ultimately is Belichick's decision, and emphasized that he doesn't know what's going to happen. Regardless, though, it sounds as if he'll respect Belichick's decision.
“I just know Tommy loves playing football," Brady Sr. said. "He loves everything about it. He loves his teammates. I don’t think anyone knows right now what’s going to go on, Bill may know. Bill doesn’t make a decision he hasn’t thought long and hard about. We’ll see what he wants to do at the end of the year."

It would be a mistake for him to go somewhere else. Why leave football fans with the image of a broken down old man struggling with a lousy team? Go out on top. Probably should have retired after the Super Bowl.

Many said same thing in 2016 when Pats got smoked by KC on national TV and Brady looked like a college qb. Then he won the superbowl that year in a historic comeback victory.

Last thing Brady can be called is greedy when it comes to his contracts.

He'll go on the IR if he doesn't have a good running game and pass protection is all I know.. Old school lacking mobility.. Tommy will be throwing the ball away on every down if he doesn't have a good OL..

This league is becoming a passing and running QB league now.. It's simple math, if you don't need a full back and have a mobile QB you get an extra blocker..

Decent throwing QB's with wheels are now taking over the league.. That's a fact!!!

Tom wants to win one without hoodie. Those two secretly despise that they have to share that legacy. They’d love to show they didn’t need the other.

and a QB with zero mobility standing in the pocket when teams learned to shut down the quick slants and the guy can't throw it down the field with accuracy.

He's going to retire, you can tell by his body language on the sideline. Doesn't even look like he's having fun anymore. Plus, Gisele must be telling him enough is enough.

I can see Belichick wanting him to retire, so he can win a Super Bowl with another QB. Of course, he won't.

Well you are only as good as your OL and receivers.. Brady also gets help from solid defenses especially this year.. Now coaching and the program to follow does work in Patriot land..

Still times are changing.. You get a major extra weapon when play calling when your QB can run like the wind..

Tom has every right to be pissed... crap offensive line, college kid receivers...
and a coach who is also gm who already wanted to move on to Jimmy G.

I think he WILL entertain other offers... and don't be surprised if Jerry Jones makes one.

If he goes, I see LA, Dallas or Vegas.

Tom Brady in any other division will struggle. Remember all these years he never sweat to win the division. They have 3 of the worst teams in the NFL in their division and they play them 6 times a year. If you look at the combined record of Jets, Dolphins and Bills the last 18 years it is the worst in the league in any division. This division never sent anyone to the Superbowl the last 25 years that is not named Patriots. Look at all the other divisions how much more competitive they are. Falcons, Saints, Panthers, Buccs all in the same division went to the Superbowl the last 20 years. 49ers, Seahawks, Cardinas, Rams all went to the Superbowl.

This is idiotic. Absolutely stupid reply. You went on some tirade about how the game has changed and it’s officially the era of the mobile quarterback. I show you the last five super bowl champs are pocket passers who almost never run, and now “you’re only as good as your o line”?

Of course an o line is crucial. It’ll be crucial for whoever your quarterback is, period. With all other things being equal, you’re still better off with a guy who’s a pocket passer, who goes through the reads, etc. That’s what wins Super Bowls.
