makes no sense. also, why is it after all these years that NHL & NBA playoffs run at same time? you would think those 2 leagues would have figured out a way by now to avoid this. perhaps have 1 league start a month later or earlier?

Because the NBA doesn't care about MLB. I think Mark Cuban said that at one point. They feel like they will win that fight.
