I feel bad for the Nationals and the fans...

They all excited to get beaten and embarrassed by the Dodgers in the NLDS. Home runs by the Dodgers all day.

    Good luck to them, lol.

You know this Dodger team isn't the 1927 Yankees, or even the 1998 Yankees.

Dodgers can be beat, keep the game close then smack around that leaky 'pen of theirs.

It looked like he was just so amped up he couldn't control his pitches early. Understandable really.
    Not the usual Sherzer.

Nationals are 0-5 historically in the playoffs.

NL WC game doesn't count because it's a 1 game series.

One game doesn't constitute a series.
In order to have a series you have to have multiple games.

Uhhh if you knew anything about baseball you’d know it’s a game of streaks. The Nats have won their last 8 (9 now?) games in a row going back to the regular season. I will love taking them + money all seris.

If you feel so confident in your opinion, make a thread about it...ofcourse if you know anything about baseball.

Nationals series losing streak will continue.

Should be very interesting series in my opinion. Nationals should be plenty live especially the fact that they can go Corbin, Stras, Max for games 1,2,3 and then have Corbin back for game 5. Not to mention the nationals are crazy red hot since the break and 10-1 last 11 games

Nats don't have a lineup who hit bombs like the Dodgers. Won't be able to keep up.

    1. dipshit. jansen is shit and Roberts is the worst manager in the game. pitching always wins with Corbin, Scherzer and Strasburg the overachieving DODGERS are similar to ... an 18 yo at a European brothel all hard and ready but blows his load on penetration . dodgers will prematurely ejaculate being the winners of the regular season and for the 3rd year losers in the playoffs

I can't wait to call you out when the Nationals end up losing. Nationals may have pitching but the Dodgers lineup will bury them.

Not to mention Daniel Hudson, the gift from Toronto.
He had a terrific 2009, was near damn perfect since coming to Washington and looked like a playoff reliever to me last night.

    Well yeah.
The Nats advanced in 1981 but they were known as the Montreal Expos so I guess you can't count that.

You have no business calling anyone out for anything. You ain’t capping shit just spewing the same homer nonsense as always. When last time you didn’t predict dodgers to go 162-0 and win World Series? When the last time you got it right? The 80s?

Nats have been top 5 all year in OPS vs lefties.
Dodgers will probably roll with something like this
RYU(L)/KERSH(L)/WALKER(R)/HILL(L) -- Not sure what they roll out in a five game series

Was evident last night with hader..

That's exactly the rotation is going to look like for the Dodgers. I'm telling you guys, Dodgers not gonna lose this series to the Nationals.

Dodgers only hit 48 more team HR's than Washington which is what? 1/3 more HR's a game on the average which isn't much.
Nationals hit for a higher team average .265 to .257. Nationals had a better team on base percentage .342 to .338. LA does have a slight edge in OPS .810 to .796.

Dodgers aren't the murderers row of yesteryear.
They had three sluggers with 30 or more homers. (Bellinger 47, Pederson 36, and Muncy 35.
Nationals had two such power hitters, (Rendon 34, and Soto 34) Like I said the team HR total was a difference of 48 and Bellinger is that difference.

Nationals can beat the Dodgers in other ways too, Nats were third in the majors in stolen bases (117) twice as many as LA's 57.
LA's three catchers all have awful stolen base against numbers, which could prove troublesome.
Nationals are playing with house money, nobody expects them to win this, the Nats just may run like crazy.

Oh, one last item. Washington scored just about the same numbers of runs as the Dodgers. The run differential between the two teams was 13 measly runs. Dodgers outscored the Nationals 886 to 873. I think the Nats can hang with LA.

I just saw where Buehler gets the start in game 1.
I've seen him blow up this season quite a few times, he's fragile if things don't go his way.

Now LA may win this series but it won't be a cake walk like you think it will be.
