    Here's the deal with Quinn. The guy should have been fired the day after the Super Bowl. No doubt about it. Atlanta just wasted four years and the end result will be the same, firing the coach.

    People saying Quinn should have been fired the day after the Super Bowl were met with "you can't fire a coach after a Super Bowl loss."

    Why?

    Wasn't his incompetence displayed in grand fashion that night? Was it going to get better?

    I'm not a Falcons fan, but their fans can all tell you Quinn has been a nightmare coach since Day 1 on timeouts, clock management, in-game strategy and everything else.

    In Seattle when he was defensive coordinator he had talent on that side of the ball (Richard Shermam, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, etc). Atlanta spent all their money on offense (Ryan, Julio, Gurley, etc). Being a defensive minded coach with a scheme is nothing without talent. You can blame Quinn, but some of the blame goes on the front office.
