    Ok I gonna be having $$ Buy in game Tomorrow night after a Steady night of Drinks and Tacos so what's the avg amount of poker chips you give each player Never paid attention before so help me out please

    Depends on what the blinds are.

    $1/$2 normally people buy in for $100
    I think at a casino the min. Buy in for a $1/2 is $40

    It depends what chips you have to work with..
    It sounds like you're doing a tournament style because you're doing winner take all for $100 each..

    I would do something like 5,000 in chips per player... Put the starting blinds at 25 / 50
    And raise the blinds every 10 - 15 minutes or so.

    This is a solid post for you Harry ^

    If you do this then give different color chips - worth 25, 100, 500. Totaling 5k to start.

    If you want a longer tourney, blinds increase every half hour.

    $5k chips/start 25/25, 25/50, 50/100, 150/300/ 200/400

    Depends on how long you want the game to last.

    You can go around the table a couple times or time the blinds. etc.

    That should be a good structure. Less chips or higher blinds or quicker time to speed it up

    No rebuys unless you have cocaine for an all nighter
