We have a radio guy in my city who will give lineup or injury info way before any national media outlets get a hold of the information. Some of these guys are plugged in to the local teams. At least where I’m at that is true.

Also, do not dismiss the role of social media. Some of the content is gold. You would be surprised how much information you can gain listening to local beat writers on twitter/IG or listening to pre/post game conferences with coaches on YouTube.

There is a lot of good stuff to uncover out here in the Internet world.
