    Vekic vs. Bencic

    Interesting matchup today. Bencic leads 2-1 all time h2h. Vekic dominated earlier this year in straight sets. Bencic more rested and looks to be in better form. Tough one to call, Bencic probably the better overall player but they know each other's games well.

    I have Bencic 40/1 to win the open, so I hedged a little piece on Vekic - but I do think Bencic will win. Bencic is the better player and is in good form. She looked great against Osaka, and don't underestimate the benefit of her walkover in the 3rd round in what would have been a tough match.
