Made no sense. Damn near cost them the win. The Oregon kickoff returner was one ankle tackle away from breaking it at the end.

let's them get 15 yards and out of bounds then has a midget safety guarding at the 1 yard line back to back plays instead of making sure Auburn has to attempt a FG... even if it's only 35 yards or whatever

You knew Malzahn would take a shot with the tallest WR on a small DB... he was sizing the entire thing up during the last drive. 1st Down clock stops... spike it. Incomplete... no big deal....
