    GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida sophomore nickelback John Huggins has been absent from the team's practices so far in fall camp, dealing with what coach Dan Mullen described last week as a family situation.
    According to documents provided to Swamp247 by the University of Florida Police Department via an open records request, Huggins was twice referred to UF's Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution department for separate incidents that occurred last fall. One reportedly involved Huggins putting his hands around a tutor's neck.
    A UF spokesman told Swamp247 on Monday the team has known about both incidents for a while. Mullen also clarified when asked on Tuesday that Huggins' current absence is not related to those incidents.

Both defenses are strong upfront with good LB's and the secondaries are fairly even as well. I keep going back to UF's playmakers. I think that will be the difference. I don't think UM will move the ball much unless it's quick, long hitting plays that I don't see them making many. UM's kicking game may have holes as well. This smells like a close game in the first half with UF slowly taking over in the 2nd half for the cover as UM will go 3 and out too many times. The only way I see UM winning is if Franks turns the ball over.

    UF will have issues with LSU and Georgia, will probably drop one more along the way. Should be a solid team if they can stay healthy.

    I'm not convinced Miami will be anything special.. they flat out gave up in the bowl game last year. Manny Diaz is the new coach and the D was garbage last year with him as D coordinator. Conversely, Florida is trending upwards under Mullen.

    Dude, what? We finished with the best passing defense in the country last year, second in total yards allowed per game, 15th in points allowed per game...may I continue?

    My source has that as well in addition to Kadarius Toney. UF is deep at WR but he's a dynamic speedster and had been excelling in camp per sources.

    Now at D-tackle, they're straight up F*cked IMO. They have 10 defensive tackles on their roster

    Luke Ancrum - allegedly suspended
    Kyree Campbell - dealing with a groin injury. Day to day
    Zachary Carter - Did not play any meaningful snaps.
    Elijah Conliffe - out for the season
