    the thing is... bears now have PAGANO coaching on defense and wow do i remember his Colts preseason days... those defenses and quality of depth players was horrendous. nobody was prepared and everything was vanilla

    No, the entire NYG front office said that Eli is the starter barring injury.
    That's etched in stone.

    Jones is the real deal, hard core fans (like me) shook their heads when the Giants drafted him.
    Looks like the coaches and scouts knew what they were doing.

    Phil Simms (my favorite Giant of all time) got booed when he was drafted.
    How'd that turn out?

    They probably scared to death to bench Eli after last time and coach was lucky to only be fired and not lynched, lol. Typically think it better for these kids to sit and watch for a handful of games anyways. Speed of game picks up a great deal when it counts.
