The saints will not be in the playoffs this season.

The last two playoffs they blew two tremendous chances. The window has closed. The schedule is not easy especially in the first few weeks. The division will be tight. I've done the work.

+250 is currently available. You will get better odds as the season goes on and they start losing.

I was surprised they made it last year. Their last 2 playoff losses completely scripted.

This is how smart some of you are. In their first 8 games of the season, New Orleans opens at home against Houston, also hosts Dallas, Tampa Bay, and Arizona. 4-0. They travel to LA, Seattle, Jacksonville, and Chicago. 2-2. That opens the season for them at 6.2. And you people think that they have a tough schedule? I may be wrong, but in this case, stupid is as stupid does and lakerboy is about as bad as they come.

I am a Panther fan but I don’t see it

Cam is trash, Secondary might be the worst safety tandem in the NFL

    Olsen is washed up

    O-Line is horrific

    coach is dumb as rocks

    fan base is shitty

    hard schedule

Cam was hurt last year, the Panthers started off hot and then after his arm got messed up they went 1-7. The O-line will almost assuredly be better, as the Panthers spent a 2nd round pick on a big tackle from Ole Miss and signed Matt Paradis.

Kuechley remains one of the best defenders in the league, and the Panthers went and drafted Brian Burns (stellar preseason debut), and signed Bruce Irvin and Gerald McCoy. McCoy will be out to prove he still has something left in the tank and Irvin should still have a few good years left too.

As for schedule? Well, the NFC South is going to be brutal (assuming teams stay healthy), even shitty Tampa should get a boost from Bruce Arians. Beyond that the AFC South is hit or miss and they should get 2-2 out of that. The NFC West sees the Rams & Seahawks travel to Carolina, and I think they can post a 3-1 mark. The Redskins and Packers will probably be a wash at 1-1, so it really comes down to how they perform in those division games. I've got them at 9-7, but 10+ wins isn't out of the question.

The better value is taking Atlanta at +380 to win the division if you think the Saints miss the playoffs, Tampa sucks and Carolina is mediocre.

Back on topic, I'm expecting some regression from the Saints too. Losing Max Ungar could be a BIG problem; if you know Drew Brees he HATES being pressured on the interior.

Their schedule is also pretty nasty, same as Carolina, but with some tougher teams on the road (Seattle & LA) and swapping out the crappy Redskins for the crappy Cowboys and Packers for a game in Chicago. I've mocked the Saints between 9-7 and 11-5, really all depends on how quickly rookie, Erik McCoy catches on and if father time finally catches up with Brees.

I personally wouldn't bet against Brees, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Saints were sitting at home in January.

Saints could easily start the season 0-3. Texans at home then Rams and Seattle on the road. That's two division winners and a playoff team from last year.

Word in TC is McCoy is catching on pretty quick. He did have 2 snaps that hit the turf in the first days of TC but so far he is doing pretty good.

I think 10-6 is about where the Saints end up. LT Terron Armstead was injured the last 2 months of the season. We didn't have a WR opposite of MT once Ginn went down. Trequan Smith was in consistent and couldn't be counted on. TE Ben Watson was old and no longer as productive. All we had was Kamara and Thomas so it was easy for teams to defend.

This year the offense should be better as long as the offensive line stays healthy.

On defense we will have to see.

Saints are horrible weeks 1 and 2 but I think they can beat Houston at home. They should beat the Rams in a revenge game but Seattle has always given us fits so I can see a loss there.

    Saints
    Falcons
    Panthers
    Bucs

Michael Thomas will dominate. Cook finally the TE that will fit with the scheme. Kamara is kamara. Morestead and Lutz arguably the best kicking tandem. Just need a KR and keep the D off the field.

    Silence haters!!
